Needs better cleaning
We stayed twice there in July 2026. The first time was pretty good. We had $50 credit per day to use. The room was decent size. However the second stay after we went back from Grand Canyon was not as nice. The Reception said they upgraded us but except it was on a higher floor (same view as we had before), the room was even smaller. Don't know how she called it an upgrade. Not happy! The worst part of the stay was the cleanness. Both stay we found hair in the bathroom. The first time the rubbish bins were on the bathroom benchtop.

Beautiful Property, But the Service and Housekeeping Are Nowhere Near Five-Star
Fontainebleau is a beautiful property, but unfortunately our stay was defined by repeated service failures, poor housekeeping, and staff who often did not seem properly trained or empowered to solve basic guest issues. The first problem was the Wi-Fi. We asked the front desk for help connecting a baby monitor. The Fontainebleau_Guest SSID uses a captive portal, which did not work properly with the device. We were told the FB_Guest network was not available for us to use. I eventually called the technical support number listed on the splash page and, surprisingly, they were able to connect us to it without an issue. The larger problem appears to be that the DHCP scope on the guest network is simply too small. For a brand-new luxury hotel of this size, this is a very basic infrastructure issue. Open a larger subnet. The in-room telephone was also in poor condition. The wireless handset would not hold a charge, making something as simple as calling guest services unnecessarily difficult. Housekeeping was by far the biggest disappointment. This is a relatively new building, yet there was visible mold or mildew on the bathroom tile, dust throughout the room, water staining, and robes that did not appear clean. I am attaching photos because the condition of the room speaks for itself. The hotel also encourages guests to reuse towels, but there are almost no practical places to hang them. Other than the small towel racks, there are no hooks large enough to conveniently hang bath towels. More concerning was the daily housekeeping. On our first day, we noticed that we were experiencing significant allergy symptoms in the room. After looking more closely, it became obvious why: there was dust everywhere. We specifically asked housekeeping to vacuum the room on multiple days. It was not done. We continued seeing the same dust and debris in the same locations. We also asked for our daughter's crib sheets to be changed three days in a row. It never happened. On our final day, before leaving the hotel for the day, we specifically informed guest services that the crib sheets needed to be changed. When we returned, they still had not been changed. We called again, and someone brought towels and shampoo instead. At that point they offered to send someone else upstairs, but it was already too late. Our daughter needed to go to sleep. That level of communication and execution is unacceptable at a hotel positioning itself in the luxury category. I would also strongly recommend against paying extra for a pool-view room. You are essentially paying a premium for the privilege of listening to music from the pool throughout the day and pressure washing at night. Management should seriously consider investing in electric pressure washers, which would be considerably quieter for guests trying to sleep above the pool area. We also tried to visit the Poodle Room twice. The first time, it was closed for a private event without any meaningful notice to hotel guests. The second time, we arrived around 11:30 p.m. The invitation/materials we had seen indicated that it was open until 1:00 a.m., but when we arrived we were told they had already done last call. My wife had gotten dressed specifically to go there, and once again the experience ended in disappointment. The pool operation also needs substantial improvement. The staff seemed extremely young and generally lacked the level of hospitality training I would expect at a resort like this. At one point I noticed a plastic knife floating in the pool. I removed it myself and placed it on the deck, then informed a lifeguard. The response was minimal. There was also a plastic cup floating in the pool. These are small things individually, but they speak to attention to detail and supervision. My wife also had an extremely frustrating experience trying to order a drink at the pool bar. She first watched a bartender tell another guest that they could not make a frozen lemonade, only for another employee to tell the bartender that they actually could. Then, while my wife had already been waiting in line, the bartender walked away to assist someone who appeared to be familiar with them. When my wife pointed out that she had been waiting, she was simply told that someone else would help her. She ultimately waited approximately 10 minutes and walked away frustrated without a drink. Again, none of these issues individually would ruin a vacation. The problem is the accumulation of them. Fontainebleau has invested an extraordinary amount of money into the building, architecture, restaurants, pool complex, and overall physical product. The property looks like a five-star resort. Unfortunately, during our stay, the operational execution did not come close to matching the building. Luxury hospitality is not just marble, expensive restaurants, and beautiful rooms. It is housekeeping that actually cleans the room, employees who understand the hotel's systems, staff who follow through on requests, and service that makes guests feel taken care of rather than frustrated. Fontainebleau has tremendous potential, but management needs to invest as much attention into training, housekeeping standards, technology infrastructure, and service execution as it has into the physical property.

not a 5 star hotel
i booked this hotel for my family 6 months before arriving when we arrived we had a problem at check in one we were treated like cattle not what i expected from a 5 star hotel it tock 10mints to just get to the desk and no porter to help you in with your luggage my booking was for 2 rooms me my wife and my 2 girls in the scend room we then spent the next 30 min arguing with the receptionist to sort out the room so we are at least on the same floor so just for context this hotel has 69 floors I booked 2 x pool view rooms they gave us the 3rd floor so no poll view as the pool is on the 3rd floor also the hotel was running a promotion witch gave you $50 per room per day as we booked early we were not eligible for this promotion I then asked the manager his name was Ahamed he then expand that we were not important as they check in 2000 people per day witch stunned me as a response regarding the pool don’t be confused by the pictures on the internet of the beds by the pool witch look nice and so they should at a price of $2000 per day no info online regarding this no coffee fidelity in the room witch is crazy for a 5 star hotel so every day I had to go to a shop in the hotel witch was in no way able to handle the amount of people trying to get the morning coffee hit in conclusions to the 2 week stay is if you are not comp by the hotel or a big gambler you will be treated like crap (stay clear)
