The complimentary Kids For All Seasons program at Four Seasons Resort Lanai at Manele Bay is called the Pilialoha Keiki Camp. Pilialoha means "close friendship and beloved companionship" in Hawaiian – something we would like to share with all guests.
The program offers a full range of organized indoor and outdoor activities for children aged 5 to 12 years. Intended to encourage children to appreciate Lanai's unique environment, the program teaches children about Hawaii. They learn about petroglyphs, the spirit of aloha and how the Hawaiian islands were formed. They can even build their own erupting volcano, go hunting for lizards or watch a keiki (child) hula show.
Children are welcome in the day program at any time – no reservations are required. Evening events are offered seasonally and reservations are highly recommended. Customized themed evening events are available for groups of eight or more upon request.

Hulopoe Bay Beach and Marine Preserve
At the foot of Four Seasons Resort Lanai at Manele Bay is Hulopoe Beach, an idyllic stretch of white sand with picnic facilities, shady palms and gentle waves for swimming and splashing. It's common to see spinner dolphins close to the shoreline, and humpback whales during the winter months. The waters offshore are a protected marine preserve, with snorkeling and diving spots that are among the best in Hawaii. Guests can sit back and soak up the sun, or snorkel and explore the underwater world. Four Seasons staff offer beach services – including complimentary use of snorkeling equipment (including prescription masks), lounge chairs and towels – making your visit to Hulopo‘e Bay worry-free.

A superb experience, curated by an incredibly caring and attentive staff. We were originally supposed to stay in Kauai, but due to the weather, we had to cancel our plans. We were fortunate enough to arrange a next day booking at Four Seasons Lanai. From the moment we arrived via the Lanai Air shuttle, the entire team went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed and ensure our stay was worthwhile. Chaslyn, Noah, and the rest of the team made us feel truly cared for throughout our three-night stay. The amenities were spectacular (e.g., the complimentary farm tour and the transportation around the island), and the property itself is very spacious relative to the number of guests, making it feel peaceful and private. The staff were consistently pleasant, attentive, and helpful. Of all the properties I’ve stayed at, this one has by far stood out for the quality of its client service. It’s clear that the team genuinely cares about creating a memorable experience for its guests. And, especially for the privacy + Four Seasons, we found the pricing to be very reasonable for the level of service and experience provided. Would absolutely stay here again.

Sumptuous.
My fantasy Hawaii vacation is a lavish, tropical paradise... and that is exactly what we found at Four Seasons Lana'i. The grounds are incredibly lush and gorgeous, with beautiful ocean views, koi ponds, and meandering paths. Our room was large, luxurious, and so comfortable... we wanted for nothing. Dining options are fantastic; each and every meal was great. We felt like we were able to get away from it all -- appropriately so, since it's a flight + drive that, while not awful, involves a bit of a commitment. Well, mostly get away from it all... there were kids everywhere. I guess I was surprised, due to the remote location (then again, we did visit in early August). Should you choose to stay here; visiting the other Four Seasons resort on Lana'i -- Sensei -- is a must (if only for a meal). We went for dinner, and it was as if we had been transported to another world. It was cool, rainy, foggy, mystical... and so, so beautiful. Incredible to me that a small island like Lana'i could be so climatologically diverse. We've been fortunate to visit a number of Four Seasons hotels and resorts.. this may just be our favorite.

Just Gorgeous.
Poor guest experiences can happen but the response can really show how a property can recover from initial missteps. We arrived after check in time but our rooms were not ready. We were given a credit and we were able to have a late lunch - however after lunch our room was still not ready. We were given a time frame - and yes, our rooms were ready within that time frame and our bags were in our room by the time we were walked over to our room. I would say that FS did almost everything they could to make up for the experience. Someone from guest services checked in on us from time to time, there were apologies and a lovely round of drinks from one of the restaurants. The vacation started off on the wrong foot but I feel that the resort did so much to make up for that misstep. We had a great welcome amenity as we were celebrating birthdays - a cake, cheese platter and a bottle of champagne - which really added to the welcome. This resort is gorgeous. Stunning. I feel like I’m walking amongst the treetops as I go from the room to the main building. The pools are beautiful and the landscape for the pool is amazing. We’ve stayed at a number of FS properties and this has to be one of the most beautiful ones out there - until I visited the sister property Sensei. Both compliment each other. One is this lush tropical paradise and the other has so much elegant restraint. Food is more traditional at the beach resort - Sensei focuses on health and wellness so the taste was not quite what I was expecting. These two properties have to be among the most beautiful, welcoming, and warm resorts. The staff is amazing at talking about local wildlife and the island itself - they speak about everything in such a natural offhand manner instead of sounding like they’re reciting from a script. Hospitality in all restaurants was wonderful - the servers were always able to guide choices and describe the food and drinks and talk about other guest experiences. I feel like Lāna’i doesn’t get the same flash and fanfare that Oahu or Maui get - and that’s fine. I’d hate for it to get overcrowded with tourists and change the pace of a vacation here. But Four Seasons should be given a lot of recognition to the level of hospitality it brings every day.

Perfect stay from start to finish. Service was exceptional. Beautiful property with excellent food. Also did the sunset cruise which was incredible.
