Jul 26, 2026Needs better door lock
Quaint, charming, within walking distance of many things. However, my door opened outward and there was only the doorknob lock. I did not feel secure, my room was in a hallway of 6 rooms. I tied the doorknob to the closet rod with my towel. I recommend adding a latch. I was going to discuss at checkout but no one was there.

We stayed one night at this hotel and it was the worst experience of our life! We parked across the street of the Galleon Hotel and asked the check-in lady if it was ok to park there for the night. She stated it was not a problem. Upon check in our room was dingy, dusty and old with a shared bathroom. We asked to upgrade our room with a private bathroom and she said it would be $80 cash. She was unprofessional with 2 small children at the front desk. Upon checking in the room was also small and uncomfortable with dirty furniture. It was only a 1 night stay so we just decided to stay..The grab and go breakfast was trash. Upon waking up and checking out at 8:00am we saw that our car was towed!! We spoke to the manager who said that they would usually call the hotel before and our car was towed 5minutes before we came outside! The owner then came out yelling and screaming that she wasn’t responsible. And using curse words at us. We asked for a partial refund to help cover the costs and they said no, all they gave us was an apology. We had to pay $250 towing fee plus that ridiculous room for the hotel. We spent close to $500 for one of the worst nights/morning of our life! If u want a calm, relaxing experience with nice accommodations this is not the place. Beware!!

Old but clean
Rooms and pool were very clean, but place is old and run into the ground. Could be cute and retro if shown some love. Also, breakfast was just snacks not a meal. Staff friendly and helpful, but it's just a place to crash.

Ok hotel
Lots of steps to get to the hotel. Rooms small and need updating. Not very comfortable. Linens and pillows just ok. Free breakfast was granola bars and instant grits. Will look for alternatives next trip to St Thomas

The service, my family and I received was amazing. To be made to feel like home in a place so far from home was unexpected and so appreciated my kid completely loved every part of the experience the property is surrounded by fruit trees. You feel like you’re in just in the middle of nature and the pool is so amazing. I really could go on and on. SEIDA and her mom are amazing
