  Very Bad

  The hotel is great. Staff other than the front desk is great. The reception staff is waiting to prey on you when you checkin with scam artists to get you into time share sessions. If you do not take the offer they treat you differently. Our room had issues with the lock, the toilet flush was leaking and the sink clogged. For all this they gave me $100 credit and was told I could use it for food. During checkout I was told the credit cannot be applied to a restaurant in the complex. This restaurant was never mentioned in the paper they gave me to sign. After multiple arguments as this is mexico I was forced to pay for the restaurant bill. Felt like a rip off by the front desk/reception supervisor lady.

  Bad Service, Bad Food, Bugs Everywhere

  We've been coming to Garza Blanca with our family for over six years. This stay was a big step down from what we used to love. Our room had cockroaches and flying insects, and the drawers were broken. When we asked to switch rooms, the front desk said the only other option was a downgrade without an ocean view. On our second day we came back from the beach and the mattresses had been removed with no warning. It took 30 minutes to get a housekeeper to replace one, and when I asked why, she said they replace mattresses "from time to time." Given the bugs already in the room, that answer didn't sit right with me. The food disappointed us at every meal. Bocados and Blanca Blue used to be gourmet and now the dishes are disgusting. The pool restaurant and room service were no better. Our pool waiter got our order wrong multiple times and took over an hour to take it, repeatedly saying he'd be right back. The smaller things added up too. The trolley used to pick us up in about 15 minutes and now takes closer to 30. The carousel was unattended, and I had to find cleaning staff at the far end of the shopping area to get it turned on for my kids. We will never be back.

  Graza Blanca - Welcome Home

  We had another exceptional visit to Garza Blanca Puerto Vallarta. When you arrive at the resort, the first thing you hear when you exit your vehicle is; "Welcome home" by the bellmen. We certainly do consider Garza Blanca our second home. The grounds are amazing and the service is 5-star and you will be amazed how many of the staff will know your name even after a short visit. They continue to open new towers on the mountain which are amazing, we tend to stay on the beach which we love. They are also continuing to open new restaurants offering a variety of cuisines and the food is excellent. We highly recommend Garza Blanca.

  Amazing. Would recommend

  Amazing hotel and exceptional staff! If you’re looking for a place to relax and have an amazing time with friends, family, or your partner, this is a great option! The staff is wonderful, always attentive to your needs and requests, and consistently friendly and welcoming. The food and drinks are excellent! I’m honestly not a big fan of all-inclusive resorts, but this one was definitely an exception. Plus, they have a great selection of spirits and cocktails. The rooms are also very comfortable, clean, and well-maintained. Overall, a fantastic experience! I would definitely recommend this hotel.

  ⚠️ PUERTO VALLARTA VISITORS: BE AWARE OF TIMESHARE SALES PITCHES AT THE AIRPORT When we arrived Monday afternoon and exited customs, we were simply looking for transportation to our vacation rental. A man who introduced himself as Cesar Romero approached us about a ride. What followed turned into a timeshare sales experience involving Garza Blanca Preserve Resort & Spa Puerto Vallarta. We feel we were misled. This experience cost us valuable vacation time and more than $200 US dollars. We have ZERO interest in a timeshare. We do not like the timeshare concept, would never purchase one, and had no interest in attending a sales presentation. All we wanted was transportation to our rental. I’m sharing our experience so other visitors can be aware. Before accepting an offer of transportation, ask whether it involves a timeshare presentation, what the total cost is, and whether there are any conditions attached. An offer of a ride should be clear and honest. This was a frustrating start to our vacation, and I hope sharing our experience helps others avoid the same situation.
