The all-inclusive program includes the following amenities:
• All meals, snacks and beverages, including beer, wine and cocktails. Additionally, private in-room minibars are restocked daily with beers, soft drinks and water.
• Daily activities include beach volleyball, table tennis, water polo, aquarobics, Beach Olympics, bike tours and darts. Each day, guests enjoy one hour’s free use of bikes, tennis courts (day and night) and snorkeling, windsurfing, kayaking and sailing equipment. Each guest may also take a one-hour SCUBA lesson in the main pool.
• During the day take part on our learning focused activities for adults and children, get in step with a Merengue lesson, sit in on a cooking or cocktail class, or brush up your language skills with a Spanish lesson. In the evening, there are live shows and musical performances.
• Chaise lounge and towel service are provided at the pool and beach

We had a great time at our 2nd visit to the GV! Henry was hilarious as usual! Always keeping us entertained! Thanks for another great trip. Our favourite activity was bingo and water aerobics. They were the highlight of our days! We will be back!

A great experience
The resort was really clean, the pool and beach were both so pretty and well taken care of! The rooms were always well-looked after, there was always adage variety of good food to choose from. The entertainment team did a great job every day- especially Dominican Justin Beiber, Henry, and Bryan!

We have just returned from our 5th visit, and had a great time as usual. Having been before, we know what to expect. We have the premium upgrade, we feel it is worth it. Now this was our first time going in February & it was very busy, I would say they were at capacity. Pros; Clean, good food, service second to none, safe. Cons: The resort is old & really does need some money invested back into it, the rooms are functional but really do need an overhaul. They need more umbrellas & loungers, plus replace the ones they have as many are broken, new cushions for the premium ones. They could remove some of the bali beds to make more room. As good as the food is, I do wish the ala carte restaurants would switch up their menus & that the buffet would do the same. This will not stop us from returning, we still love it. p.s. the beds are very hard

On day 1 and still here for another week: No towels through the entire afternoon for the pool. No towels AT ALL in the guest rooms upon check in No ironing board or iron - you can borrow one from the Front Desk for a few minutes - and you have to pick it up yourself This is a 2-3 star resort. Think before you book

Vacation with friends
Me and my friends had so much fun. The pool was fantastic. The beach was great. There were always chairs available for us. Resort events were lots of fun. The staff were awesome from the entertainers to the bartenders to the house keeping (especially Henry, Shaggy, Brian, and Willy).
