  ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Exceptional Hospitality – The Gold Standard for Customer Service! Our stay at the Grand Cayman Marriott was nothing short of extraordinary. We’ve stayed at many beautiful resorts over the years, but what truly sets this property apart is its people. The level of genuine hospitality, warmth, and professionalism we experienced was simply unmatched. A heartfelt thank you to the incredible front desk team—Jose, Jaydon, and Aina—and to the exceptional Front Office Manager, Sylvia. From the moment we arrived, they welcomed our family with genuine smiles and made us feel like valued guests rather than just another reservation. Every interaction was thoughtful, personable, and focused on ensuring our stay exceeded every expectation. The team went above and beyond in every possible way, but what meant the most was the incredible effort they put into making my wife’s birthday truly unforgettable. Their kindness, attention to detail, and sincere desire to create a memorable celebration touched our hearts and made our vacation even more special. Those moments are something our family will cherish for years to come. The resort itself is absolutely beautiful, with stunning grounds, comfortable accommodations, and an incredible atmosphere. But it’s the people who transform this resort into something truly exceptional. In today’s world, outstanding customer service can be hard to find, yet Jose, Jaydon, Aina, and Sylvia demonstrated what true hospitality should look like every single day.   Watch out for charges ... be careful!!

  I am a resident of Grand Cayman, I booked Marriot Cayman from July 10th - 13th because this is where my niece's wedding reception is going to be. I received a generic email two days before my arrival, which informed me that I could check in online. I appreciated this convenience and completed the online check-in process. I was there the morning of the 10th as we were there to check the reception hall. Although check in is at 4pm, as I was already there in the morning, I approached the front desk if I could check in early, the staff member confirmed that my room was ready. However, he mentioned that he needed to see the physical card I used for the online booking. Unfortunately, I didn’t have my purse with me, so I promised to return later. Upon my return, a different staff member was at the front desk. I provided the necessary ID, but when I offered to show her my physical card, she told me it wasn’t needed and that everything was fine. I felt uneasy about this and wish I had asked more questions. The next day, I noticed two charges of different amounts on my card. I went downstairs to inquire about them, and another staff member explained that they were for incidentals. Although I wasn't fully convinced, I decided to let it go. I asked how many more charges I could expect, and she assured me there would only be one additional charge of that amount. This didn't happened! Wedding day was the Saturday and we had activities lined up the Sunday so I didn't have much time to check on my balances, something I shouldn’t have to worry about during such a busy time. On the day of checkout, July 13th, I noticed two more charges on my card, bringing the total to four charges. I didn't raise any concerns since the total matched what I expected. However, two days later, on July 15th, I received a notification that my card was charged again for the full amount of my stay. Upon checking my account, I saw that the full amount had been charged, while the previous three charges remained as pending holds. I contacted Marriott Guest Services to address this issue, but I was met with excuses. They informed me that the release of my funds depended on my bank. I clarified that my bank wasn’t responsible for the charges; it was Marriott that imposed them. While they apologized and offered an upgrade for a future stay, my money remains on hold—14 business days and counting. This experience has left me disheartened, and I doubt I will return; it’s certainly not reflective of the famed "Cayman Kind" hospitality. Regarding the accommodations, the rooms were acceptable, but they had a musty, old smell upon entering. However, due to the wedding festivities, we didn’t let this bother us too much. On a positive note, I highly recommend Anchor's and Den. We enjoyed a delightful brunch there on Sunday, July 12th. Our server was attentive, and the food was, as always, excellent—definitely one of our brunch favorites! Until Marriott revises their charging policy, I cannot recommend the hotel. I wouldn’t want others to endure the same frustrating experience that I have faced. It feels unjust that I am still unable to use my card due to these held charges initiated by Marriott.

  I love this place!!

  We had the best time staying at the Grand Marriott Hotel! From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by how beautiful, spotless, and luxurious the hotel felt. Even with the building construction taking place, it never took away from our experience. A very special thank you to Kevin, our housekeeper, who went above and beyond to keep our room immaculate throughout our 9-day stay. The staff were welcoming, the hotel was stunning, and we couldn’t have asked for a better stay. We would definitely return and highly recommend the Grand Marriott Hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing and luxurious getaway!

  I had a wonderful check-in experience at the Marriott Cayman. Anina was polite, welcoming, and very helpful throughout the process.   Best Staff and Beautiful Hotel

  The Grand Cayman Marriott was the most wonderful experience. The staff, the hotel and the view was amazing. The kindness and customer service we had was exceptional. I want to mention simply everyone who made our family vacation so extraordinary. but to mention a few....Thank you to Ella, Junita, Minu, Murine, Syrene, Litha, Gregor, Dre and Jev and Jessie. You were Always so helpful, so accommodating and with a smile. The resort is beautiful too and we were upgraded to an ocean view room. It was the Best Summer Vacation Thank you Grand Cayman Marriott.
