  Perfect dinner!

  The Indian restaurant was great! Lizbeth is the best host, and the attention and recomendations from Elias were top! The Chef Irving came out and greeted us. Great spot that should not be missed!

  Great Service, Very Hot, Questionable Food

  We stayed at Grand Fiesta Americana for 5 days and 4 nights and our experience was mostly positive. August is more of a slow season for the resort due to the excessive heat and humidity, but the lack of people let the resort feel quieter and allowed for more personalized service. It is VERY hot and humid during this time of year, so fair warning if you plan to travel during August. Most of the buildings have fans and AC, but the elevators do not have their fans turned on, along with most hallways. Most of our issues with this resort are with their dinner restaurant selection. It is important to note that we are Vegetarians. We tried 4 of the main restaurants on property. El Mexicano, Peninsula, Rosato, and Blú. The first 2 were terrible. El Mexicano seemed to be trying to achieve a 5 star Mexican restaurant approach, but failed to do so. The vegetarian options seemed vast, but the portions were tiny, and were not the taste we were expecting in the slightest. The only good food we tried was the in house guacamole which was delicious. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone, especially vegetarians. Peninsula by Night claims to be an Indian cuisine, and being of Indian heritage, we were very intruiged. Safe to say, the chef has never seen proper Indian food before and definitely was not taught correctly. I have some photos attached of what is supposed to be Naan, Dhal Makani, Paneer, Batata Vada, and Malai Kofta. The Naan was beyond raw and tiny, the Dhal Makani was just moong dhal, the paneer was the wrong type of cheese, deep fried, and in a watery soup, and the Batata Vada and Malai Kofta were the exact same. The samosas were also dumpling shaped and deep fried filled with only unseasoned potatoes. I hope there is some changes made to either the menu, or the food, so adequate food can be served here. The other 2 restaurants were perfectly fine. Rosato’s food was delicious and so was Blú’s. I have photos attached as well, we had no problems from these restaurants. The food was delicious. Also, important to note that there is no all day buffet to get food from. There is a breakfast buffet until 12. After that the only food options are sit down. Lunch options close at 5, and all bars (except lobby bar) close at 6. The people at this resort are what make it so incredible. The service is exceptional, and the people make you feel at a second home. I would like to take a second to thank these specific people for an incredible service experience. Dulce, Sherlyne, Aura, Jiselle + rest of the entertainment staff Juan, Zenon, Loth, Alejandro + rest of bar staff Our room had a fantastic ocean front view and was a perfect size for 2. The service for the room was hard to get. There is daily cleaning and maintaining of the room and fridge/ammenities, but if anything else goes wrong, or you request help, it will never come. On our first day, the man helping us with our luggage into our room noticed our fridge was empty and said he would get someone to fill it. Half the day went by and it was never filled. We asked the front desk if it could be filled, and nothing ever came of it. We then made another call from the room a few hours later, and finally had someone come down and fill the fridge. This problem occured once more when our phone in our room stopped working. I went down to the lobby 2 times on back to back days asking for it to be fixed, both times with reassurance that someone was going at that moment, to no avail. It was not fixed by the end of our visit, and most likely the next person in that room will have the same issue. Overall, we were pleased with our experience with the resort, but the only reason we would return would be for the people. As I said earlier, all the service was incredible and the people working here are amazing. Hopefully Grand Fiesta can work on their restaurants, fans, and room issues as if we faced these issues during the slow season, I can only imagine what the busy season might look like.

  Best place to visit Grand vista

  Rosato Restaurant’s service is truly amazing! Raul and his team provide exceptional, attentive service and go above and beyond to make every guest feel welcome. The ambiance exceeded my expectations—it’s beautiful, relaxing, and inviting. The entire place is impeccably clean, and the spa is absolutely wonderful. Highly recommended for an unforgettable experience!
