Great experience highlighted by amazing staff
This was my wife and I's second time staying at a Grand Fiesta resort. We had a great experience at the Peurto Vallarta location back in 2017, and wanted to give this one a shot as well with a few friends. These hotels continue to not disappoint. The food, drinks and staff in particular were all fantastic. The sushi and italian A La Cartes had awesome food, as did the buffet and Cechiveria/Grill during the lunch hours. They also made lunches special by the pool daily and those meals were great as well. On the liquor side, they served spirits like Ketel One and Kraken (which were included at no extra cost). The one major upside of this resort was no doubt the unreal staff they employee here. From check-in to check-out, all of our interactions with staff were top notch, and I'd like to call out those individuals for making our trip a special one: Yami - unbelievable server at the pool. We always had drinks and food in our hands and she always had great drink recommendations. She was AMAZING. Entertainment staff (Yair, Nicole, Lenora, Aura & Armando) - we are always looking to keep busy at the pool during the day and these guys always kept the energy fun at the pool. We appreciated how hard they worked to keep everyone entertained. Victor (lobby bar) - super nice guy and a great bartender. A La Carte servers - Narci (Italian), Carlos (Sushi), Miguel (Mexican) - all very friendly and made our dinners super enjoyable. Carlos (swim-up bar) - very personable and friendly Ivan (check-in) - from the get-go, made us feel very welcomed Only two downsides to the trip: We stayed in 201 which is the room closest to the Martini Bar (literally down the hallway from the bar) so we unfortunately heard a lot of noise late in the early hours of the night of people coming back to their rooms and from the bar itself. The first night, our group decided to try the seafood A La Carte restaurant and the food here was below average. I will also say that the "$500 room credit" we recieved was a bit of a joke. It could only be used at the restaurants to pay for food/drink upgrades OR at the spa. However for all options, you could only spend $100 a day maximum (so you would be stuck paying the difference for a spa treatment that is more than $100 USD). Overall, great experience highlighted by amazing staff.

This is a GREAT resort!
This is a GREAT resort!!! I literally have no complaints after a one-week stay. 1) The room was great. I believe all rooms have at least a partial ocean view. My room overlooked the pool and the ocean. The air conditioning was awesome, the room got chilly. Housekeeping did a great job. 2) The restaurants were superb. I ate at the buffet every morning. They had a really nice variety of food. Everything was delicious. I ate at the steakhouse three nights - I recommend the cowboy steak most highly (it is a bone-in ribeye). I ate at the Italian restaurant three nights - it was absolutely delicious. 3) The drink service on the beach was top-notch. Always coming around asking you if you needed another drink. 4) The resort only has canned beer, no tap beer. This was a welcome surprise. They had Corona, Pacifico, Dos Equis, and Modelo. 5) The beach had a mixture of palapas and umbrellas. They would plant the umbrella wherever you wanted. It was great service. 6) The employees were all nice, friendly, and helpful. I will defintely stay here again when I visit Cabo!

First time at Grand Fiesta Americana but won’t be the last
This was an amazing experience. Our first time in Cabo and we didn't know what to expect. We were blown away by the hospitality and everyone that took care of us. The food is amazing especially the ceviche. The shows were great and the views were spectacular. Thank you for making this trip memorable. Special thanks to Roberto, Jose, and Cruz at viña Del Mar breakfast for taking care of us and helping us rejuvenate with the juices. Another special thanks to Alejandro and Abel on beach service because they made sure we never went thirsty. The last special thanks to Carlos at La Cevicheria, he made sure we had the best ceviche. We came multiple times just to get more.

Loved your service at every meal. Jose was wonderful, as was Enrique. The shuttle service is very well run and efficient. Loe the grounds and landscaping. We come every December, and we brought friends this time. We all enjoyed every aspect of our vacation

Disappointed group
Very disappointed with our stay at this resort, the only thing I can say was nice were the people that work in the resort, they were all friendly. The bad - No Water one day Hot water maybe 3 out of 7 days All inclusive, but if you want to dine at the steakhouse 30usd per person fee. The buffets were horrible and disorganized! Blanche cold food! The only good meals we had were the Blu dinner, and the Italian restaurant. Very few chairs around the pools, and people claim them early! Can never find the concierge so could never rent a cabana 🤣 The adult pool had a visible scum ring around it like it hasn’t been cleaned in some time.
