Worst experience in Cancun.
This was my worst experience in Cancun. I've never been to a resort where the food was so horrible, I felt deprived. The first night every restaurant was booked and closed by 8pm. The buffet was open with very limited and not appealing looking foods. What made this experience worse for me was the 120 minute sales presentation. The sales rep Isreal immediately threatened us with a $2000 fine because my fiance turned around to look at a palm tree. Isreal then proceeded to ask me if I got this deal from Monster travel group. Which i did. He shared that the hotel doesn't like to deal with Monster anymore because of the quality and character of ppl they bring. We ate breakfast during the presentation. Isreal told us we had to order exactly what was on the menu. I couldn't get eggs with cheese and my fiance couldn't get eggs without ham. Since we were Monster ppl that's all they would allow. We got our food the way we wanted against his wishes. He bought up the $2000 fine a few more times for not completing the tour. Though I was there and present. So it didn't make sense. As we were eating he stated we had to hurry up and eat, (he was still eating). Now I started to get upset. We struggled the night before for food. Now we're being told we have to rush and eat? Isreal then pulled out a piece of paper he wanted me to read. The paper said something about not completing the tour and the $2000. I was annoyed but still trying to keep my composure. He asked me if I understood what I read. I answered no, because I didn't understand why he was badgering us in that way. He then said, "What you don't understand, you can't read?" At this point I asked my fiance to record. It seemed as if Isreal desperately wanted to charge me $2000. He bought it up 5 times in less then an hour. I calmly asked him to stop threatening us, and to stop talking to us in that way. It was my birthday and I was on vacation. Isreal, the sales rep who chose his job to sell to me, tried to treat me like a peasant because I got a discount. I had an anxiety attack and another guest came over to intervene. She asked Isreal to give me a few minutes because what he was doing wasn't good for my health. A manager came. Though after having an anxiety attack on my bday everything was sour from there. The resort itself was nice. There were many pools and some entertainment. However it was a task to get drinks at bars that would serve us. The bars barely had white wine. So I just bought my own bottles. We had to leave the resort to get good food. Most of the times there are long lines for all food and drinks. The beach was beautiful though there aren't any chairs or umbrellas unless your VIP. Lastly, I feel bad for all the VIP ppl and the guests that didn't get a discount. The food and service was worth the discount I paid. I will never go to any brand of Oasis hotels. I most certainly will not be recommending it to anyone either. Oasis Grand Cancun gets a 2.5 stars. For the location and the pool and beach areas. However an all inclusive should have more access to food and drinks.

Couples trip
We stayed here for a week, do not buy into the sales pitch, the Oasis travel club for 10 years is approx $10,000. this place was okay but not sure we’d come back. The base buffet is not good but if you get the black bracelets which is an up charge of approx $600 a week for two people you get better food. The buffets, coffee shop and other restaurants are better with the black bracelets. The room was good for the most part and our cleaning lady was nice. She brought us an extra blanket because our a/c wouldn’t shut off.we reserved a nail bed but ended up getting our own drinks because the waiter didn’t come around enough but they were nice. It takes a couple days the pools were a nice bit a lite cold. No hot tub at all anywhere! The Asian place has small potions so order extra stuff . The steak house meat was tough; but they did have a good salad bar ahead of time. the Italian place and Asian was probably my favorite.

Unsafe, overcrowded, and poorly managed – very disappointing stay
Unsafe, overcrowded, and poorly managed – very disappointing stay I stayed at Grand Oasis Cancun and unfortunately had a terrible experience. While walking on the hotel’s own grounds, I ended up with a glass splinter in my foot. Accidents can happen, but what shocked me was how unprepared and unhelpful the staff were. I went to two different hotel staff members for assistance, and neither of them could properly help or had the right tools to remove the glass. No basic first aid, no real sense of urgency or concern. In the end, I had to go to a neighboring hotel to get proper help, which is unacceptable for a resort of this size and price. It felt like guest safety and basic medical readiness were not a priority at all. On top of that, the constant queues and long wait times really ruined the experience. The food court always had a line, and it felt like there was a wait for almost everything – food, drinks, activities. Instead of relaxing, we spent a lot of time just standing around waiting. Overall, between the safety issue, unhelpful staff, and overcrowded, poorly organized services, I cannot recommend Grand Oasis Cancun. This stay was far below what I expected and I would not come back.

Horrible customer service and lines everywhere
What a horrible service!!! Staff is extremely rude. Hostess Mariana specifically, at Tun Kul food court. (Nov 28, 2025) We learned the hard way that you have wait in long lines for everything. But if you entered the place Mariana would chaise you and go in hysterical mode on how you went into the wrong door, even though it was as open as any other door. What an embarrassing and horrible customer service and experience for a family. We already got the food and Mariana was kicking us out in-front all of other customers .She has totally ruined our night and we left hungry. Will make sure to share this review on our rating platforms. Resort itself is also outdated and food is not at level as in any other 4 and 5 star all inclusive resorts we have stayed before. Beach is great, thus 1 star is given.
