  So Dissappointed - not hot water for several days...

  This was our 2nd stay at this resort, and unfortunately, we were very disappointed this time around. We had several issues with our room, including cold water for days, a bathroom door that did not slide shut completely, a TV Remote that did not work, and the wall light control popping off, exposing wiring. We had several people come to our room to handle the issue; however, it took several visits to resolve the hot water, and the TV Remote never consistently worked. We resorted to using the manual control on the back of the TV, which was very cumbersome. We ended up taking more cold showers than hot showers on our 5-day vacation. Additionally, we were unfortunately not able to get much court time at the Nadal Tennis Center as they were already very booked. The food options at the Buffets were repetitive and not well labelled, causing us to question if the food was fresh. The dinner options were good except for Portofino, which was not good and did not resemble Italian food at all. We did enjoy the food at the Steak, Indian, and Mexican restaurants. The beach is beautiful, and the service at the beach was excellent. The pool was lovely as well.

  Great stretching class

  Excellent resort, stretching classes and activities are great to go, instructor Jean is extremely energetic and friendly!

  Great property, questionable quality of service

  It’s a great resort with private sea beach and few restaurants. Vegetarians get decent option in all the restaurants except Mexican. Bhogli Indian restaurant was way below expectations with respect to food quality and service.

  Not 5 star by any standards

  - Poor food quality - Service hit and miss - more often poor than good. Sometimes staff just ignore you and continue talking amongst themselves like you don’t exist - food mainly bland and tastlesss. Even in à la carte restaurants food was often cold - entertainment esp shows are rubbish- low quality and aimed at young kids only - coffee poor - no option of decaf coffee - was advised to buy some from the shop when requested - toiletries of poor quality Not your usual 5 star The hotel facilities are otherwise very good. Shame the food and service let it down so badly. Would not stay again and would not recommend, would not consider grand palladium as an option worldwide in the future based on the quality in Cancun

  Picturesque hotel but mosquitos all around

  The hotel is located on some kind of river flowing all through with the stale water and even though its very picturesque and nice to walk around mosquitoes are just attacking non stop. We got bitten so heavily that by 5th day my child had literally zero unbeaten space left. Other minus is that there were very limited food options outside breakfast/lunch/dinner (i.e little pizza bar by far away pool and ice cream shop that is open only 12-4), with our baby schedule it was hard sometimes (she wakes up at 6 and is super hungry but breakfast won’t start till 7, then you had to wait till 12.30 for lunch and 18.30 for dinner. Wish they had everything starting at least half hour earlier. Another stupid thing is that you can only book restaurants for dinner on the reception through concierge. We checked in on Tuesday, all the early slots for the week were taken, they told to come on Saturday at 2 when they will have slots for next week, so we had to walk in the middle of the day all the way to reception (which is fairly far as all things in the resort and be ready to walk a lot or wait 20 mins for the golf cart) and spend an hour there in a line and while the concierge was doing reservations and printing receipts. Super strange way to handle things - just wasting everyone’s time, in other hotels you could just book everything on the app. Spa was amazing, its a peace of art. Service was ok (some really nice friendly waiter and some had this look of disgust on their face, def hate their job). Rooms are pretty big and spacious, have a sofa bed, big bathroom. Humidity is super high like I guess in all other places so staff doesn’t dry. Food was good, I appreciated that they had suchi station every day for both lunch and dinner with guy making them fresh right there and a food grill station with seafood.
