  Don’t choose this location

  The location was awesome. It was easy getting around the resort. The rooms were dated. Smelled bad and the air conditioning wasn’t working properly. Some of the staff were pleasant but most were very rude. Not worth the money paid for the trip.

  Beautiful Resort, Terrible Management – Wedding Experience Ruined ⭐ 1/5 Stars

  I honestly don’t even know where to begin with how disappointing our experience was at Grand Palladium Palace Punta Cana. We chose this resort to celebrate one of the most important days of our lives—our wedding—and brought over 40 guests with us. Unfortunately, what should have been an unforgettable experience for all the right reasons turned into one disappointment after another. Before arriving, we specifically requested that our wedding guests be placed in the same building or at least close to one another, especially those travelling with children. Instead, our group was scattered throughout the resort, with some families placed extremely far apart. Check-in was an absolute nightmare. Several of our guests waited over an hour just to check in, only to be told their rooms weren’t ready. After a long day of travelling, this was frustrating and unacceptable. The problems didn’t stop there. Throughout our stay, our group experienced numerous room issues, including: • Air conditioning that didn’t work properly. • Room door locks and key cards that repeatedly stopped working, sometimes multiple times throughout the trip. • Large cockroaches found inside guest rooms. • Electrical outlets that didn’t work. • Personal belongings going missing from rooms. One of the most upsetting incidents involved the room we rented as a bridal suite. My wedding garment bag, dress, hair accessories, and other belongings were taken from the room. Imagine dealing with missing wedding belongings during what is supposed to be one of the happiest moments of your life. Even more concerning, some of our female guests who were staying alone reported receiving inappropriate comments from male resort employees. This is completely unacceptable and made an already disappointing experience even more uncomfortable. Then there was the wedding itself. The resort advertises a “free wedding,” but let me be clear—there was absolutely nothing free about our experience. We ended up spending over $2,000 USD, and it felt like practically the only thing included was the chairs. The lack of transparency surrounding the wedding costs was incredibly frustrating. What really says it all is that when the wedding coordinator was asked whether she herself would have been happy with the wedding, she admitted that she would not have been. That alone speaks volumes about the experience we received. The saddest part is that the resort itself is genuinely beautiful. The grounds and scenery have so much potential, but beautiful surroundings mean very little when the management, organization, room maintenance, guest safety, and overall customer service are so disappointing. We brought more than 40 people to this resort to celebrate our wedding, and instead of leaving with wonderful memories of our stay, many of us left feeling frustrated, disappointed, and completely let down. I would NEVER return to Grand Palladium Palace Punta Cana, nor would I recommend it to anyone, especially couples considering having their wedding here. Unfortunately, many of our wedding guests feel exactly the same way. For a resort that hosts destination weddings and large groups, the level of organization and professionalism should be significantly better. My advice to anyone considering booking their wedding here: Think twice. A beautiful resort does not guarantee a beautiful experience.

  Wouldn't go with group or wedding

  Beautiful resort but many issues with check in/rooms, lack of management. Went with a group of over 40 people for my daughter's wedding. Would not recommend to go to this resort as a group or for a wedding. Common sense does not prevail when booking with a group. Rooms were scattered across the resort, couldn't get a dinner booked all together. They gave us 4 different reservations at different restaurants for 10 people. Some of the male staff made inappropriate sexual remarks to several guests, making the women in the group feel uncomfortable. The rooms were not what was shown on the website unless you were given a room that had been updated. Issues with costs for wedding seemed like a huge money grab. Couldn't get an extra blanket or pillow for the pull out couch when requested. My door kept unlocking and I reported but it wasn't fixed. Some of the staff members were phenomenal while others were extremely rude.

  Skip this place , go to Mexico !!!

  Just because of the Grand Palladium in Tulum Mexico we chose to go to Grand Palladium in Punta Cana DR, and because of this one in Punta Cana we would never go back to Dominican Republic!
