Awesome place
Really good, nice place here. A lot of restaurants choice, large pool area so its not crowded. Would come back to this place again.

Too large. No food service by the pool. Une rn boards on bridges terrified I would trip and fall. Buffet for breakfast a lot of the food was cold, e.g. bacon and sausage. Overall not a pleasant experience. Felt cut off from the outside world.

Be prepared to be SCAMMED if you book Colonial or Kentenah. We booked in November with access to all areas (except Family Select). When we got there they wanted an extra $200 USD a night on top of what we already paid! We talked them down but still paid over $1000 USD total extra, just to get what we were supposed to have in the first place and give the family the vacation we wanted. We were not the only guests that had this experience. The upselling throughout the resort was over the top. The showers clogged every 2nd day (family in another room had the same experience). Staff were lovely. We stayed at other Grand Palladium’s in the past and had a great experience- not this one and not using this company again! There were good aspects but I would have much rather paid the extra to be at another resort.

Overall a pleasant and relaxing experience
Overall a very positive experience. I went solo (65+) and never felt singled out as being alone. The staff was great. The other guests were great too. No obnoxious jerks. Several weddings were held while i was there. It was fun to experience their energy vicariously. I also enjoyed the numerous infants that were there - so precious to be in their presence. The room was perfect - no problems at all. I had to ask for soap and things a few times, but they were supplied as requested. I tipped well everywhere and it was clearly appreciated. Mixologists were great. I had one massage that was only mediocre. The spa is huge. The house music is a bit sedate and I would recommend a bit more on the uplifting side (this would be my biggest complaint - boring house music). The night time entertainment was mediocre, but I did not expect much there anyway. Lots to do for kids but I went when there were very few. Pool activities are not very prevalent and I think a bit more in that area would be good. At least to alleviate that boring house music lol. It was early February , so some days the weather was a bit chilly and windy, but with the sun it was fine and refreshing. Better than being scorching and humid, and certainly better than the -25 Celsius I was coming from. No bugs at all which was nice. The beach is not the best - a bit rocky, lots of algae, and calm waters, but i didn't go there to swim in the ocean. The food was pretty good but not great, about what I expected. It is a large site with multiple resorts, but getting around is not a problem with the shuttles being fairly frequent if needed. There are some fairly large bridges over a lagoon that may be hard to navigate for some people. The guests were mostly American, Canadian (me), and South American. Didn't encounter many Europeans. Overall a pleasant and relaxing experience.
