Xmas breack.
Not as expected rooms old and tired needs updating . Furniture all sticky , chipped. Also fousty smell in our room. Pool areas lovely couldn’t fault the 2 girls Irene and Dana. 🙏 In day was good. Evening entertainment was diabolical. Same thing every night dancing to music no singing . No real shows. I actually fell asleep during their shows. 🤦♀️ The food in main restaurant was mainly cold at breakfast. 🥹 but was better in the evening. Couldn’t fault our waiter Jose pott ! Kind friendly and very helpful. Helpful. At lunch we had hot dog by the pool snack bar. Rudest woman ever hardly spoke worked with attitude. Banging plates and trays when asked for a hot dog. Think she needs a job away from people ! The Xmas gala was so disappointing we were looking forward to it so much only to be given scraps of brown turkey not even potatoes as they were not ready for least 10 mins. We ended up with few fries turkey was not edible !! Hardly any buggies most are for the vip people. 😡 . Beware the consiage they invite you for a free breackfast and spa. In the vip area. It’s a sly ploy for a timeshare. 😡😡 We cancelled it then we were ignored from that day. Shocking this is Tui should not allie this. The beach is not like the pictures on web. It’s all overgrown with green bushes. Sunbeds very old and breaking so we didn’t use beach. Such a shame thus resort could be much better . Some waiters will serve people after you if they got tips in hand. And if you don’t tip some they are rude. Did enjoy the Xmas breack. But we wouldn’t return as it’s gone down hill.

Based on experience, will be coming back.
Went for a family getaway and it has been a great experience. Our twin 5 yr olds loved the kids club (and mom and dad got some adult time). Special thank you to Andy, Ana, Eve, and Kass for being amazing with our children during their visit to the kids club. Overall great staff

Lovely time despite aggressive upselling
Lets start off by saying me and my partner had a lovely time here. Everyday we saw some kind of wildlife roaming around which was incredible and the wildlife are taken great care of. The food is fabulous with 9 restaurants on site, it can be difficult to book them, however we managed to book all 9, you just have to keep checking the booking system. We found the staff to be absolutely lovely and a special shout out to our concierge Jarred, who took a genuine interest in everyone and ensured we had a great time. The beach was absolutely beautiful with plenty of sun loungers available throughout our stay. However not sure we would stay here again due to the constant aggressive up-selling at every opportunity. After a longer flight and a 4 hour wait for our luggage at Cancun airport, we finally arrived to be told that we would be staying in a twin room which is not what we booked and paid for, they then tried to get us to pay extra to upgrade. After another hour wait we were given the room we paid for. The rooms are nice, however dated and the lights are on a sensor that go off after a few seconds. Avoid booking the free breakfast at 'Ultimate beach club' which is a members only area for club members. We were told there would be a 90 minute presentation of the benefit of becoming a member. This turned into another aggressive sales tactic, whereby a woman called 'Isis' sat with us whilst we ate breakfast and asked us a series of questions about our lifestyle and holiday habits. We ended up there for 3 hours whilst they sent over various people trying to bully us to drop over 4k for this membership. We repeatedly told them we were not interested and felt like we were being held hostage. They then sent over some guy called Frank, whose attitude was disgusting and again borderline threatening. Also avoid the $1 bus tour to Playa del Carmen and look at booking a private taxi there. They call it a shopping tour where you are taken to a Jewellery store then to their tequila shop for a free tasting. This is another scam, we were assigned a shopping assistant who does not allow you to browse the jewellery at your own leisure instead they try to push rubbish quality pieces at you at over inflated prices and pressure you into buying something. In the end my partner bought a pair of earrings as we saw people being abandoned at the shop for not buying anything. We would definitely visit Mexico again but not this particular hotel. Also look to book your excursions through other companies prior to arrival as your holiday providers overcharge.
