We had the best time celebrating our one year wedding anniversary at Grand Velas. The property is beautiful. The hospitality is amazing. Our personal concierge Astrid went above and beyond to help us have the most relaxing and magical experience! I would recommend this place to everyone!

Relaxing weekend getaway
Great stay at the Grand Velas, food was amazing and the service was outstanding. Our Concierge Christian planned our stay perfectly for us and made our stay enjoyable. From reserving dinner, to activities and helping us plan trips into Cabo San Lucas as well as San Jose del Cabo. It was the perfect weekend escape.

May 17, 2025Nice getaway - just not a 5 - butt we will come back
Very clean and indulgent all inclusive property with very well appointed rooms, good amenities and outstanding pools with views close to the water. Not a swimmable beach due to currents but pretty and great waves to listen to. Only complaint keeping it from a 5 is that the restaurants - although environmentally are decorated and appointed professionally and in theme - had moderate food. Steaks were particularly disappointing (tried NY cuts twice and in fact once simply because the Filet was the size (6oz) of a small burger patty); salads and other courses were just ok, often lacking memorable flavor - except for Frida (Mexican themed restaurant which was exceptional). Frida dishes were just spectacular. The Azul buffet restaurant featured a very impressive array of breakfasts and lunches and grilled foods - all very fresh and made to order. Very creative salads, and other sorts of things. We went with several couples, all of which were extremely happy with the beds, linens, and pillows. Similar to their other property, in Puerto Vallarta, service at the restaurants was exceptional. They really provide a sense of care and interest in making sure they tend to your requests, including special dietary restrictions when needed. We couldn’t have been happier with staff and wanted to send out a thank you in particular to Roberto, who was our server at Azul multiple times, as well as Sebastian, who took care of us at Frida. They really did a good job, not just taking care of us, but also made a point to remember things for our group that made us feel special. Again, exceptional service. We also were treated very well by the female staff person who grilled fish for us on multiple occasions- we forgot her name but she remembered what we wanted each day and that was appreciated. Lastly, find out if there will be a conference or business group at the property when you are there. It will impact your serenity at the serenity pool.

Incredible
This place is absolute perfection! I’ve never had better food and I’ve traveled the world over. The chefs and the weight staff are impeccable. The wine, was exceptional. And I usually find wine in Mexico not great. But Grand Vegas keeps superb wine on hand. The rooms were huge, the beds were comfy, and the views were breathtaking. The housekeeping staff never overlooked a single detail - like EVER! Our clothes were folded, our shoes were put in place, phone cords were wrapped, I could go on and on. Ana, our concierge was the best in the business. She made sure every bit of our trip was taken care of, she helped rearrange plans, she was able to book a golf outing to a beautiful course with no issue, and she had sweet surprises for us each evening. It completely made our trip SO special. I cannot recommend this resort enough (and ask for Ana)!

Absolutely Superior Resort
I can't say enough about how perfect this resort is. My husband and I stayed in the Grand Class Corner suite and it was a stunning room with a great view. The balcony felt very private and like we were in our own little world. The pool is huge and it never felt overcrowded. The drink and food service at the pool is fast and servers are very attentive. Anything you want, they will bring it to you! We also visited their spa on a couple occasions and I was blown away by the amenities and attention to detail. I have been to a lot of reputable spas in the US (Canyon Ranch, Awana, etc.) and I have never experienced a more luxurious spa like the SE spa at Grand Velas. But I think the real star of this resort is the food. Every single restaurant is top of the line. This is THE best all inclusive resort in Cabo. We also had a private concierge for the week and Abdias was incredible! He booked dinner reservations for us, sent us the resort event schedule each morning, checked on us every day to see how our stay was going, and even sent us a bottle of champagne and some chocolate covered strawberries to our room as a surprise. Grand Velas is a 10/10 and I would definitely recommend to anyone traveling to Cabo.
