Aug 29, 2026Another Outstanding Stay at Grand Velas Riviera Nayarit
We returned to Grand Velas Riviera Nayarit last July for our sixth stay at the property. As usual, we had a wonderful stay of which the highlight by far was the spectacular service. We were warmly welcomed by the front desk team, and greeted by Chepe (head concierge), Fidel (captain at Azul), and Mario (concierge) upon our arrival, which made us feel right at home. We stayed in two modern, refined, and spacious suites with a fantastic view of the ocean and beach, as well as a well-stocked mini bar. Our experience with the F&B outlets was also very good, especially at Azul, where the service and anticipation to detail by Fidel and his team stood out tremendously. We are also grateful to Emiliano (cook at Azul) who provided great service, always with a smile, as did Angel (who we also saw at Frida and Piaf), Ricardo, and Edgar. Alan and Daniel took great care of us at Piaf, as did Manuel in the pool area. We also would like to recognize Fabiola (head concierge); Gabriel and Santos (bellmen); Beatriz, Kevin, Arlinda, Gabriela, Alicia, and Araceli (spa); and Fatima at the front desk. Certainly, the standards of excellence reflected in every aspect of our stay would not have been possible without the leadership of Managing Director Pilar Perciavalle, who takes care of every detail and always prioritizes guest comfort and safety. Thank you to everyone who helped create another memorable stay at Grand Velas Riviera Nayarit for us, and we look forward to coming back soon!

Paradise in Mexico
We had an amazing time at the Grand Velas Rivera Nayarit with our sons and daughter-in-laws while celebrating our 55th wedding anniversary. The team at the hotel were all so kind and helpful for anything we might need. The hotel is gorgeous and the pools are amazing. Not a piece of sargassum grass on the beach. The food at each restaurant was delicious. We even had smash burgers delivered to our chaise lounges beside the pool one day. Great coffee shop and the homemade popovers that arrive at noon each day are so tasty. We definitely feel this all inclusive hotel is by far the nicest one we have been to, including all inclusive cruises. Perla, our concierge, was wonderful. She checked with us both personally and through messages each day to let us know the activities for the day, confirming our dinner reservations and pick up arrangements for departure. She had a lovely plate of chocolate covered strawberries and cold bottle of champagne in our suite to wish us Happy Anniversary. Perfect vacation!!

Premium experience and service
We have previously stayed at the Grand Velas in Cabo and this location met that same standard: incredible rooms, location, food, service and drinks. Everyone one goes out of their way to make your visit special. We loved the Spa staff, both our masseuse and the butlers. Special shout out to my beach volleyball outdoor crew of Carlos, Emilio and Esteban. Carlos especially was enthusiastic about always making the activities helping and he was constantly trying to teach less skilled players to help them play with more confidence. Also I want to mention our poolside attendees in Francisco and Saturnino. Lastly, our concierge Mario really went above and beyond to ensure that our anniversary celebration was special.

Loved our stay.
Great property. Room was clean and large. Plenty of space for the kids to run around. Staff is amazing. We really liked the Asian restaurant. Pools are kids friendly as well.
