    Grand Velas never disappoints!

    Wonderful 7 days with our adult children and grand kids. You just can’t beat these resorts for families. We have been to all 3 locations and they are all lovely. Rooms, staff, pools, kids club, restaurants are fantastic. Thank you to the many staff that made our stay so great! I would like to say an extra thank you to Ricardo in Azul. Besides always being so attentive..he quickly noticed I was nervous with the stairs in the restaurant going from the buffet area to the table (I recently had a very bad fall on stairs at home). He was there each time to give me a gentle elbow or hand. It was so greatly appreciated. The only negative comment I have is please consider changing the music around the pool area.

    Top notch experience at grand velas

    We go to grand velas on a yearly basis the last 5 years and each year is incredible. The rooms, the food, the service, the staff are top notch. We especially enjoy the pool and sports activities ran by Carlos. Each day is full of fun, sun, and family time!

    What makes a beautiful place truly unforgettable is the people who bring it to life! A very special thank you to Brando and Jazmin, who were absolutely wonderful hosts by the pool. Their warmth, positive energy, and enthusiasm made our experience even more enjoyable. We had such a great time playing blackjack and learning a few tricks from them along the way!     Back for our 10th anniversary, and GV still delivered

    Exactly ten years after our first trip to Grand Velas (for our honeymoon), my wife and I knew we had to go back to celebrate a decade of marriage. We had such an amazing time in 2016 that a subsequent visit would be hard to match up—but it did! I have to highlight the Activities offerings and the team, who are all simply superb. Activities is once again the favorite part of my stay. They are always down for a game of something, and we played *a lot.* Volleyball, ping pong, blackjack, pickleball—all fun (and competitive!) games with a smiling crew. Special thanks to Jazmin (who also let a bike ride outside of the resort one morning), Emilio, Brandon, Charlie, Gus (my pickleball nemesis), Andrea and Delvi, among others. Grand Velas wouldn't be the same without the Activities team!! The room, food, service (thanks to Nino and Francisco for their poolside hospitality), views...everything is just excellent. A fantastic vacation!
