Aug 15, 2026Terrible Experience!! Beware
Do not stay here, and beware of their representatives stationed at the airport. They will paint a picture-perfect scenario and offer incentives—like discount rental car quotes or free perks—just to lure you into attending a "presentation." Once you are in the presentation, management turns to high-pressure, manipulative sales tactics to force you into buying a membership. If you decline, the staff's attitude turns completely hostile, making you feel disrespected and mistreated. To make matters worse, they will charge unauthorized fees to your credit card without proper consent if they feel you aren't a fit for their sales pitch. Save yourself the stress, avoid the airport sales traps, and book somewhere else that values its guests instead of treating them like targets for a timeshare push.

Our family always looks forward to returning to Hacienda del Mar in Cabo as members. From the moment we arrive, we are greeted with warm smiles and genuine hospitality that make us feel right at home. Every vacation here is filled with wonderful memories and pleasant moments. We especially want to recognize the incredible activities team at the pool. Nico, Nataly, Alejandro, and Angel go above and beyond to make every guest feel welcome. Their enthusiasm, kindness, and positive energy are contagious. As parents of a son on the autism spectrum, it means so much to see staff who are patient, inclusive, and genuinely happy to engage with him. They made him feel comfortable, encouraged him to participate, and celebrated every moment with him. Thanks to them, activities like painting, salsa dancing, and water aerobics became some of the highlights of our vacation. We would also like to give a special thank you to Guadalupe, who has been taking care of our family at the pool since 2013. It is always a pleasure to see his welcoming smile and friendly personality. Year after year, he goes out of his way to provide exceptional service and make sure our family has everything we need. His kindness, professionalism, and genuine care are just a few of the many reasons we continue coming back to Hacienda del Mar. Thank you to the entire Hacienda del Mar team, and especially to Nico, Nataly, Alejandro, Angel, and Guadalupe, for creating such a welcoming and inclusive environment for our family. You have made every visit truly special, and we can't wait to return!

Amazing customer service!
The entire stay has been so great! But I have to mention one individual who constantly went above and beyond for us - Guadalupe, who works at the pool by De Cortez, was one of the most attentive individuals I’ve had the pleasure of meeting. I so appreciate his kind demeanor and amazing customer service. Hacienda Del Mar, make sure to hold onto this amazing guy!

Guadalupe is the BEST!!! At Hacienda Del Mar Pools!
We booked our Cabo trip pretty last minute this year - but we absolutely lucked out here at our resort in many ways. We got a room with a BEAUTIFUL view. And every day we have spent at the pool, Guadalupe has been a smiling face willing to help find us towels, chairs together and most importantly- umbrellas! He’d get us situated and if a better spot opened up, he would come ask if we wanted to move. He greeted us by name every day and was always happy and glad to help, we could not have had better luck with his service at the pools! We are excited to come back annually and hope Guadalupe is here every time. 1000000/10 service, thank you Guadalupe!!!!

Amazing Service
Everything was amazing. The atmosphere was beautiful and the staff are incredible. Had the best service. Specifically Guadalupe who helped my family and I by getting more lounge beds and an umbrella without us even asking for it. 10/10 experience.
