  • House Without a Key

    Immortalized in a 1925 Charlie Chan novel, House Without A Key is Halekulani's popular indoor/outdoor gathering spot for informal breakfast, lunch, cocktails, appetizers and entertainment, and offers a fresh option for evening dining in Waikiki. One of the favored traditions of the original Halekulani — cocktails and Hawaiian music under the century-old Kiawe tree — is faithfully preserved here.

    As one of the best restaurants in Waikiki, House Without A Key is known for its signature mai tai, a classic to be enjoyed any time of the day.

  • La Mer
    Dinner only. The only restaurant in Hawaii to receive the coveted AAA Five Diamond (Restaurant) Award, La Mer features Neoclassic French cuisine. With the ever-present sound of waves washing up on the shores of Waikiki, dining at the elegant ocean-side La Mer is an experience of superb taste and impeccable service. Long sleeved collared dress shirts or jackets are required for gentlemen.

    Vacation

    Our experience at the Halekulani was OUTSTANDING. From check-in where we were given a tour of the hotel, to dining, to check-out, all the service was gracious. The hotel was an oasis of calm in the busy Waikiki area, and we especially loved the live music each evening. Our room was beautiful and thoughtfully arranged. Overall a great experience.

    40th wedding Anniversary

    The Halekulani is truly a luxury hotel. The room service was spectacular, always clean and amenities replaced when necessary. Everyone working there was friendly and stopped to say Aloha when you walked by. The grounds were very clean and well kept. The restaurants are expensive as you would expect from a five start hotel. We didnt eat many dinners there but there are plenty of restaurants within walking distance. The only issue was the pool. We were there during hurricane Nolo and although it was windy the weather was very nice.They kept closing the pool even during hot days. I think it was more a chemical issue then a weather issue anyway when we did finally get a day to enjoy the pool the service around the pool was very good. My wife and I went for our 40th wedding Anniversary, we expected a lei greeting that didnt happen most high end hotels will do that. They knew it was our anniversary and had a bottle of champange in the room for us that turned out to be white grape juice. Overall a very nice experience but not sure if we will be going back.

    A Wonderful Hotel Stay

    The room was a comfortable size and very well designed, making it easy to use and relax in. I also really appreciated that the toilet and shower were in separate areas. Having a bidet toilet was another nice touch, especially for Japanese guests. The food was delicious, and all of the staff were friendly, kind, and always greeted us with a smile. Thanks to their warm hospitality, we were able to enjoy a truly wonderful and relaxing holiday. I would love to save up and come back again someday!

    Absolute paradise

    WOW I was totally impressed. The hotel is immaculate, the staff members are impeccable, the rooms are divine. The Halekulani Hotel is absolute paradise. It is close to transport, restaurants and shops. Thank you for the most memorable and amazing holiday. I'm already planning my return in 2027
