  Loved this December Getaway

  We had a lovely early winter beach escape and Atlantis Resort and Nassau did not disappoint! My favorite part is the wonderful friendliness of the people at the resort and on our excursions. Harborside was lovely and the continual transportation to all of the Atlantis buildings and amenities made it a breeze to get around. December is a great time of year to go, it's not as crowded but the beach is beautiful and so is the weather!

  Disappointing Stay for a Long-Time Marriott Owner

  I’ve been a Marriott owner for 15 years and have always had great experiences, which made this stay especially disappointing. When we arrived, the room was not properly cleaned or prepared. There was chewed gum and a used tissue left in a drawer, and the arrival coffee and amenities pack were missing. Several items in the room also didn’t function: the bedroom fan clicked nonstop, the main room fan didn’t work at all, and the coffee maker was broken. Although the coffee maker was eventually replaced, I had to request another coffee pod since the only one provided had already been used with the non-working machine. One of the biggest frustrations was the Wi-Fi situation. Charging $24 per day for Wi-Fi—only accessible in the room—feels completely outdated, especially when non resort taxis, restaurants, and buses offer it for free. Free internet is only in the lobby. As a parent traveling with teens, staying connected is important, and it’s disappointing that Marriott owners at this property don’t receive complimentary Wi-Fi despite raising the issue at past owner meetings. Atlantis weeks owners do with it being a 50/50 property they vote it down at every owner meeting. I also wasn’t informed that the building I was placed in had roof work starting at 8 a.m. With the property at low occupancy, better communication and room placement would have made a big difference. Another area that needs improvement is transparency around dining charges. 17% Gratuity is automatically included, which is fine, but guests should be clearly informed so they don’t feel pressured to add more or face uncomfortable interactions with staff. Lastly, the resort app should be updated daily with which slides and attractions are open. Relying only on signs inside the park is inconvenient and avoidable. I truly hope management takes this feedback seriously. Marriott properties usually uphold a high standard, and I would love to see this location return to that level of service and care.

  Wonderful Vacation at Harbourside – Truly Felt Like Home

  We had a wonderful 15-day stay at Harbourside Resort on Paradise Island. Special thanks to Director Marva Morrison for her incredible help and attention to every small detail. Our one-bedroom apartment was spacious, fully equipped, and very comfortable. The staff were always friendly and welcoming, and we loved having access to Atlantis facilities, Marina Village, and nearby shops. We truly felt at home and highly recommend this resort.

  Great destination, just avoid The Point restaurant!

  Our stay was great, with the exception of my treatment of The Point restaurant at Harborside - the staff was unnecessarily rude and NOT helpful. Steer clear of this place, otherwise our overall experience was great!

  Beautiful and Relaxing 😎

  Our family had a wonderful vacation at the Atlantis HarborSide Resort. Our room very nice and updated. Staff very nice and helpful. We loved that you have many different pools, restaurants, shopping and beautiful beaches. Everything is very clean throughout the Atlantis Resorts. Would definitely vacation there again!
