  Harborside - terrible experience

  Worst trip ever. The Harborside is definitely overrated. It feels like you’re staying at a two star motel at Best. The staff is not pleasant, and the rooms are very unequipped and dirty. Nothing here was exceptional. The only good part was being able to go to the Royal, Cove and water park. Harborside felt like the step child of hotels and staff treated guests as such. Each time I went to the front desk, someone was complaining about broken things in their bedroom. We had to switch rooms because our first room was despicable. Dirty, unequipped, AC and phone not working, Fridge not cooling, And floors so dirty, turned our socks, black. The upgraded room in building five was better, but the phone didn’t work for three days and the AC was leaking for the rest of the trip The floors everywhere very slippery not the right pavement for pools and many people injured regularly. My son slipped and sprained wrist, I fell and cut toes and my husband fell 2 times and cut knees. I also cut finger in kitchen sink and had to get stitches

  Beautiful visit to Atlantis (Harbourside)!

  We had a great experience staying at Atlantis' Harbourside Resort. The room was comfy and clean, the grounds were beautiful as was the ocean. The water park was really cool, there's shopping, a kids club, a movie theater and plenty of eateries. You can save a little bit of money by stopping at a grocery store and bringing back food to cook but not a ton. The shuttle runs nearly all day to transport you between the different Atlantis properties which was very helpful. There's also a casino if you like gambling. We did do some off property excursions as well which were significantly cheaper and still felt just as safe. I would.recommend visiting here with friends or family.

  Old rooms. Smelly and lack of upkeep and maintenance.

  The rooms are in desperate need of renovation. As a MVCI member, I was very disappointed in the upkeep and maintenance of the room. They smelled of smoke and mold. The elevators were poorly maintained, just felt like a resort that does not belong with the Marriott family. The director of the resort was helpful but everyone else was a mess and non supportive of our family experience. Questioning keeping my timeshare at all after this experience. We transferred out.

  Horribly unbelievable treatment

  I have been an owner at Harborside for several years, but this was the worst. Last year we bought an additional weeks with numerous promises made. None of which were delivered - one such promise was early check- in. Didn't happen, not problem. When we finally got our room, it was not clean. The refrigerator was nasty, the bathroom and the sheets. We let the front desk know. They would have it cleaned. Never happened. Each day they promised to clean, each day nothing. Spoke with a manager, she said we were not entitled to have our room cleaned since we were only there 5 days, so what about when you first check-in. No clean room provided or expected? I guess not, we never got it. I will not be spending my money where I am not treated with honestly and respect. The treatment at the Atlantis was great, but Harborside was horribly disappointing

  Getting worse

  Kids club was fun, too many small issues with room to ignore - toilet leaking, ants, no hot water. The prices at global resorts continue to increase, $15 for a drink plus plus, I don’t see how that continues to be sustainable for folks. Shuttles were slow, the drivers didn’t seem interested in helping and would miss their stops on occasion. 4th time visiting, can’t say I was overly impressed.
