  The most amazing staff and views

  Hardrock Cancun is 4/5 stars for me as a HOF guest. Every single staff member made us feel welcome and important, like family. I want to give a shout out to our favorite people for everything they did for me and my 14-year-old niece. First and most importantly, Luis our primary butler. Weeks leading up to our vacation Luis was in consistent contact with me to help plan our trip down to every small detail. I am sure I was driving him crazy with all my questions, but he always answered them with patience and professionalism. Once we were at the resort Luis was there for us no matter what we needed, even helping out with allergy medicine when my head hurt, lol. He checked in multiple times a day and was really enjoyable to be around, chatting with me about the Ohio State game and making my niece laugh. Our other butler, Roberto, was equally as helpful. He was always in a good mood and checked in every morning to confirm our plans for the day, again helping us out with anything when we needed it. Both Luis and Roberto made sure we had our choice of lounge islands daily, which was above and beyond! On the Metallica island where we spent all of our time, our server Joseph was the absolute BEST! Every morning, he was prepared with our bucket of waters and quickly learned our favorite snacks and drinks. He was always smiling and laughing with me and my niece, very professional and checked in multiple times throughout the day. There are other staff that stood out, but I’ll just say that overall, everyone was great! There were a wide variety of shows, which were great, and fun activities throughout the say on the beach and at the pools. Music was constantly playing, which we loved, and the overall atmosphere made us feel like we were at a music festival, but with lounging and relaxation. The only downside to the Hardrock, were the restaurants we went to. We only chose to go to 3 because the menus were limited for dinner and the portion sizes were very small. We ate steak every night because it was guaranteed to be amazing, but the other options we tried were just mediocre at best. We ate at Ciao, Toro (which was the best of the 3), and Frida’s. Frida’s is a fun buffet with great breakfast. Ciao was by far the most disappointing of the 3, other vacationers agreed. I visited Hardrock 10 years ago and it surprised me how much the food had changed. On the Brightside, the room service was pretty good, especially the salmon. I think my niece ordered it at least 5 times. Also, the poolside food was surprisingly better than the restaurants. Overall, I would definitely go back to the Hardrock in a heartbeat. My niece and I already miss our 3 main guys (Luis, Roberto, and Joseph) and hope to keep in contact or see them again.

  Still worth to visit

  Fifth time here. Everything still good, but quality sliding down. Its understandable, because the prices are almost the same we paid 5 years ago. From negative - got several times served drink in the restaurants in the plastic(!) glass. Hard to find original Baileys at the bar. The croissants not daily fresh. The ice cream got cheaper. From positive - Hard Rock still serves good spirits like Chivas, Hennessy, Patron and Don Julio, but in plastic glass due to safety. The rooms are new and updated. Many chairs on the beach and by the pool, plenty of towels (many resorts like Riu, Paradisus, Occidental running out of towels) . The shows became less expensive, not much quality live music as used to be prior COVID. Beach is pleasant, water is fabulous! Still worth to visit at right price.

  Great Trip. Love the staff and great hotel.

  Hard Rock Write up From the start with Virginia checking us in as our butlers were a little busy, the trip started off great. Jessy (our butler with Hector) met us in our room and made sure everything was squared away (and helped us out when sick and has become another forever friend). We were really tired after a long day of travel, but Jessy and Hector had made all our dinner arrangements so once we unpacked, we headed to Toro for a nice steak dinner. After that, we headed to the Lobby Bar where we saw Willie, who remembered us from prior years as soon as we walked up! One of the reasons we keep coming back is the number of staff who know who we are, even if we don’t show up for a few years (although we love the place enough we do try to go every year). Breakfast at Frida’s (buffet) we had Rosario and Hector (who remembered us from last trip), both of which knew our orders (and our green juice) from the second day we were there. And chef Mine was the best for fresh eggs! Whatever we ordered, she made perfectly. As you know, you do often go through the “sales” upgrades, but I will say Omar and George (Jo-Jo) made it easy on us. Paulina at resort activities booked everything we wanted for this trip and when we needed to make changes, was easy to contact and make the adjustments. If you go to dinner at Zen, you MUST request Ricardo! Not only did he handle all of my food allergies, but his food was properly seasoned and we made sure to go back multiple times. Massages with Limberth and Eugenia were heavenly and I really wish they were close to home as we would go every month and feel amazing. Jessica and Oscar at the pool (and Oscar again at the beach even when we did get rained out) kept us well hydrated and fed and were so personable that we felt like we had known them for years. And I can’t say enough about Angel, Robert and Quetzal(also Pedro), the bartenders with the most, who all not only remembered us from prior years, but remembered how to make our favorite drink without us even asking!! And we had a one day pass to visit Ava and we couldn’t have done it without Virginia and our butler at Ava, Abraham!! Thank you Abraham for making things runs smoothly when we couldn’t manage things. We keep coming back because we love so many staff like family and it feels like coming home each time we visit. We are always torn about trying a new resort and visiting those we have come to love and respect. We keep suggesting the place to friends and everyone we know has loved vacationing at Hard Rock Cancun like we do!! Keep up the great work!
