Just got home from the Hard Rock Hotel in Cancun. What an amazing hotel! The staff are all excellent. They are very friendly and they are amazing and so helpful. The main hotel lobby (red one), is incredible, shops, a lovely café, a show theater (make sure you watch the 'Light Show', it is excellent, and an amazing buffet restaurant. The blue hotel lobby is excellent also, with a lovely spa, more shops and an adults only bar and nightclub which is stunning. The main pool by the red hotel lobby is brilliant, 5 different pools with outstanding entertainment throughout the day. The blue hotel lobby pool is incredible also, with 2 large pools, both pool complexes have swim up pool bars. The restaurants around the complex are very good with excellent staff, just be prepared to wait for your table, as you cannot pre-book tables. The beaches around the site are brilliant. Totally safe to swim and lots of fish around. My family and I absolutely loved the whole experience. Music playing all the time, quality DJ's all in a stunning location, surrounded by local wildlife. We would all visit and stay there again. 10/10 for me.

We just got back from this hotel and if you want good food this is not the place for you. Overall we had a great time. The hotel had great pools, drinks and entertainment but the food was really unfortunately quite dreadful. Nowhere near 5* standard. We’ve been to a lot of 5* all inclusive hotels and the food here was the worst we’ve ever had which is a shame. And we were unable to get into the à la carte restaurants except for one occasion, with the waits being 1.5hours! No booking system is absolutely unheard of. It was like a cattle market, being given a buzzer and told to wait! Never have we encountered this before anywhere worldwide. The one time we did get into one restaurant (after a 1 hour wait) we ordered “steak”. I gave a piece to my 7yrvold son who said it tasted like sausage- he was correct! Hotel is dated and the lobby area is a bit strange to drink in. Needs more outdoor evening bars/activities to enjoy the warm evenings. We had to wear jackets indoors due to the air con! But overall staff were great and we had a lovely time. Just a shame about the food.

A great place for two couples to hang & enjoy
We had a great time at Hard Rock Riviera Maya. We brought a couple friend of ours and enjoyed the pools, entertainment, ocean coves, excursions and food. We thought it was a great size - bigger than Cancun but smaller than Punta Cana. Very walkable. Our butlers Fernando and Lucio really took care of us. They were quick with responses, checked on how we were doing and if we needed anything and made the trip super easy. They were also very easy to work with. We would request them again!!

Amazing!
It was amazing. The entire family had a great time. Our butlers Paola and Moses made it so much better. They made it so much easier scheduling our reservations and excursions. They were so helpful and courteous.

Relaxing and amazing family vacation
Loved our stay at HardRock Riviera Maya! Moises and Paola were our butlers and were so amazing. All of our reservations for dinner, the spa, and and chairs by the pool and beach were all taken care of! We were able to relax all week thanks to them! This was our 6th time being there and every time we have the best time!!
