Nov 06, 2026Incredible Wedding Experience
My wife and I visited Haven Resorts in 2026 from October 26 until November 2nd. It was a wonderful experience. Specifically focusing on the wedding: - the decor was amazing - the service provided to the wedding guests during the welcome dinner and also the wedding was out of this world. - Andrea Córdova is the best wedding planner/coordinator we could’ve ever asked for. We spent months discussing things with Andrea and when we met her in person, she was even nicer and more energetic than we’d expected. She walked us through each venue we’d selected, lead the rehearsals and worked shoulder to shoulder with our Emcee. And our Emcee was also a huge fan of her! All of our guests mentioned that the resort was huge and that they loved the experience. We participated in several crazy games, and had wonderful restaurant experiences.

OUTSTANDING Resort
If you upgrade to Serenity, you will have an insanely great time especially if your goal is to relax and clean a clean and aesthetically pleasing property. The food was great I would specifically recconmend the Mexican Steak House and the Serenity restaurant Tahani and Vistas. If you are looking to slow down and have a quieter/relaxing vacation it is hard to beat this place.

We were very disappointed with our stay at the Haven Riviera Cancun Resort. When we arrived, our room was in bad shape. There were multiple spots on the walls that had been patched but not painted over. There was a small hole in the wall above a light switch, and there was a stain on the ottoman at the end of the bed. In addition, our balcony had tiles that were falling off of the wall. They did move us, so that was nice, but the first impression was a rough one. The other issue we had with our room was our bedding. The duvet covers they used were missing ties so the duvet kept coming out of the cover. When we called about having it fixed they flipped it around and tucked that end in at the foot of the bed. We also had to call one night due to not having a top sheet. In addition to the room, the rest of the resort was in rough shape. There were awful paint jobs throughout the facility, several glass panes that were broken throughout various walkways, missing tiles on walkways, the elevator button panel on our floor was barely hanging on and there was a dead bird smushed on a walkway that wasn't cleaned up for three full days. Also, during the magic show on our last night a thin metal beam from the light up poles in the Moon Room started to fall off during the show. It simply felt like they did not care about the shape of their resort. Lastly, the Serenity Club. We were not part of the Serenity Club, and because of that, we could not eat at certain restaurants or go to certain bars/fitness centers. Paying a lot of money for an all-inclusive resort, and then not having full access was extremely disappointing. We were guests at an all-inclusive where things were not all-inclusive. Not to be all negative, the staff was friendly. We had some positive interactions with staff both at restaurants and by the pool. The food and drinks were also overall enjoyable with the exception of the Italian restaurant.

Welcome home family
What can I say? The Haven was amazing. My wife and I had an amazing experience at the spa. We loved the water therapy. The drinks were strong, the view was great! We had a butler that anticipated our needs. He texted us with daily updates and made every ask come through without breaking a sweat. My wife and I hope to be assigned to Enrique again when we come back next year. Ohhhh yeah, go ahead abd book the serenity package. We'll worth it

Love the Haven!
Amazing! I loved the resort and the amenities. The staff was amazing. Our butler Enrique was super accommodating. He went above and beyond to make sure our stay was great. He thought ahead and even took care of us when he wasn't on property.
