  Outstanding Service from Millie at Gourmet Marché!

  We have just returned from a two-week all-inclusive holiday at The Hideaway at Royalton Blue Waters, and we would like to take this opportunity to give special recognition to Millie, one of the supervisors at the Gourmet Marché buffet, who really stood out during our stay. Throughout our holiday, Millie regularly checked in with us to make sure everything was okay and that we had no issues. Her friendly, approachable manner and genuine concern for our comfort made us feel valued as guests. It was clear that she took pride in her role and genuinely cared about ensuring guests had a positive experience. We did experience a problem with the mini-bar in our room not being properly stocked. When we brought this to Millie’s attention, she immediately made a phone call and had the issue resolved without delay. She took ownership of the problem and ensured it was dealt with quickly and professionally. What impressed us most was her willingness to take action and make sure things were put right. Millie demonstrated initiative, professionalism and a genuine commitment to guest satisfaction. Millie is a real credit to the Gourmet Marché team and The Hideaway at Royalton Blue Waters. We sincerely hope the hotel’s management team recognises her hard work, dedication and commitment to looking after guests. In our opinion, she has many of the qualities of a strong leader, and we would love to see her efforts recognised and rewarded with opportunities for career progression. A hotel can have wonderful facilities, but it is the people who work there who often make a holiday truly memorable. Millie certainly made a positive impression on us during our two-week stay. Thank you, Millie, for your kindness, attentiveness and for going above and beyond to ensure we were looked after. We hope management sees this review and recognises what a valuable member of their team they have. Well done, Millie — you are an absolute asset to the Royalton team!

  Amazing time at Royalton

  Was our first time in Jamaica and will certainly be back. The hotel and it's surroundings are incredible. Massive shout-out to Zanni. What a brilliant bartender, and also an excellent human being. Couldn't have done more to ensure we had the best stay. Also massive thanks to the TUI rep Annette. She helped us out with an issue on a trip that we couldn't be more grateful for. A couple of minor gripes, the prices in the shop are unreal. 15 dollars for a bag of crisps??? The staff whilst amazing do ask you all the time about booking excursions and the spa, appreciate they are only doing their job, but it does get a bit much after a while. We also didn't have our mini fridge filled for the last 3 days. Finally, on a couple of occasions the service was not amazing, although it was unusual, things such as waiter/waitress forgetting to fill your water up at the table after they have asked you. Not a huge issue, but it stood out as unusual, so thought it worth a mention. Overall though had such an amazing time, at a beautiful venue.

  Wonderful staff

  Had a jamazing time at this hotel. It’s the people that work there that make it so special. Demar and Dan were our butlers and they are such lovely, friendly guys. They never stopped smiling from the time we arrived until the time we left. They made sure we had a wonderful time, they helped us with any requests/queries we had and kept us informed of what was going on every day. Nothing was too much trouble. We got married while we were there and they helped make our day really special, a day we will never forget. They are true gentleman and we can’t thank them enough for looking after us while we were away. We’d also like to thank Sonya, who served us on the beach. She is always happy and friendly and takes the time to get ti know the guests to make sure they have everything they need. There were many lovely staff we met at the hotel and these people really made our stay fabulous.

  Wonderful Staff! Make plans to eat elsewhere!

  The Royalton was beautiful! We had an amazing time thanks to the wonderful staff!!!! Dan the Man and Demar were our butlers during our stay and consistently made every effort to make sure we needed for nothing. Erick from the vibe team was awesome the whole time. The DJ was great! Anthony, my cousins butler was amazing. Omar was amazing! Natasha from the diamond club lounge was amazing. Imani was wonderful. Even the cleaning staff and all throughout were simply lovely!!! The pendulum swing: The restaurant's random closures, extremely limited reservation availability and unwillingness to accommodate was really the worst part. It was horrible. Also the limited selections to what was available was not consumer friendly at all.

  Time away

  Our experience was wonderful except for the man who tried to sell us drugs, think he was called Denzee or Dezee. Considering I lost a loved one this year due to addiction, this was a big turn off. Apart from that, the experience was good, I will do it again.
