Relaxing quiet stay with vibes and good energy
Amazing hotel with great hospitality. Went with my 12 year old daughter for 7days. weather was mild low 20s and a bit windy on days but generally warm and sunny. Highly recommend for a quiet relaxing stay. Food and entertainment was spot on. My favourite was breakfast, authentic and so many options including Jamaican favourites and continental favourites. Steakhouse was great, so was Italian but my favourite was the buffet. It never disappointed and so much choice. The music and vibe every night was amazing, staff are very engaging. The live music before main shows was great, different every night. There was female violinist who was just amazing! Pools were freezing but the sea was lovely and there was a lot of seaweed or something washed up on the beach but the hotel made a great effort to move it.

Warning! Do NOT Book!
My family and I traveled to Negril for our yearly vacation and I made the mistake of booking this resort. I booked 3 diamond club suites for our party of 6. We were forced by management to move into a single (non dc) room (5 people). There was only 1 bed! They told me they were upgrading our rooms and I needed to sign a non disclosure statement and then moved us to 1! When I asked to be moved back to our originally booked rooms since this was obviously NOT an upgrade, I was told they were occupied by staff and we were out of luck. Nothing about this property is as advertised! They even ran out of FOOD AND WATER! The management is a joke. They refuse to refund me for the rooms we were denied or provide any type of compensation or even apologize. They’ve insinuated that I am being untruthful but from what I see online, this type of experience is common at this Royalton property. I type all of this to say… DO NOT BOOK this property. Go basically anywhere else in Jamaica!

Royalton ruined my wedding vacation
We couldn't have had a worst time at this place. From the minute we checked in this place was a disaster. We booked this place for our wedding . What a bad mistake We booked a diamond club roof top jacuzzi suite. After waiting mani hours to check in. We were told our room number and asked to bring ourselves there. No butler to help. Nothing. When we got to the room there were no linens and towels. The phone didn't work. The outdoor jacuzzi was disgusting and dirty. We had to walk back down to the diamond club they were no help. We had to switch rooms with one of our wedding guests! That was the only was we go and working room. Even the new room had a non functioning AC. Our room was barley cleaned and stocked. We never received more then 1 clean towel at a time. The beach also never had towels at the huts. Our butlers would never be available. We asked for the out door jacuzzi to be refilled.not done once in our stay. My wedding day I couldn't wear make up as the ac in our suite didn't work and we were all sweating too much. At the beach my elder mother and aunty wee approached by security guards and they tried to sell them sec services. The alarm went off in so many buildings throughout the nights our guests couldn't sleep and their small children were woken almost every night. We complained and were offered cabanas but even at those we couldn't get service. It just kept going. My 8 year old even sliced his feet on missing tiles at their main pool and needed first aid. Nothing went right and at no point they do anything f special for our wedding. No champagne on ice. No tub with flowers . Not even towel art on the bed. 40 days later we are still waiting for our wedding photos taken by the resort. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. Terrible.

Appalling hotel and management
Hi. We stopped here for our 6th time. Looking forward to it more than ever. We paid for an upgrade on our room through the front of desk manager Clithy chadden. We paid £2300 for our upgrade to the penthouse. For our 14 night stay. We specifically said the hot tub must be fully functional. Our one request. So on arrival after 18 hours travel. Clithy met us on arrival to inform us our room would not be available for the beginning 4 night's of our stay. We were put in a presidential room in the diamond club area. It was ok but not the penthouse we paid for. Delegation started. We were given a full 4 night refund and an extra night's refund for the inconvenience. Now the nightmare starts. The Penthouse was ready for us. It was shown to us and disregarded straight away. Broken mirrors. Broken Decking around the hot tub. Refused point blank. So conveniently another penthouse became available. On first look. Great. We were told the hot tub was working.. it wasn't. We had no air conditioning for our entire stay. We had towels and a bucket on the floor for over a week catching the dripping water from the air conditioning unit.Complaint after complaint went in. Service engineer came up. Said it was fixed. It wasn't. Eventually an engineer came and condemned the air conditioning unit. .Hot tub was broken and to keep us happy , it was going to be cleaned. Refilled and the water heated up daily for us. This happened 2 times in the 10 nights stay in the penthouse. Now seeking compensation. We were told we had received sufficient compensation for the first 4 night's of our stay. The front of desk don't even reply now to us. The hotel is a mess. Bannisters hanging off the walls. Beer cans in the hallways for days. Broken floor tiles. Need I go on. We won't be visiting again. AVOID PLEASE your money would be better spent elsewhere.
