  Fun Family Stay!

  The Royalton Riviera Cancun truly impressed us with its exceptional service, great dining, and fun activities for both adults and children. From the moment we arrived, the staff set the tone for a wonderful stay. Even though we checked in early, we were immediately given a comfortable suite to refresh and change, which we really appreciated. Throughout the trip, every team member, whether at check-in, the restaurants, the pool, or the kids’ club, offered top-tier service. We genuinely enjoyed every restaurant we visited, with Armadillo becoming our clear favorite. Our four-year-old absolutely loved the kids’ club, thanks to the incredible care from Carolina, Bertha, Karl, Dana, and Yazmin. Their kindness and attention to detail made her experience unforgettable, and Carolina in particular went out of her way to make Olivia feel special each day. The Royalton Fit team added even more fun to our stay, bringing energy and excitement to the daily activities. Ismael deserves a special thank-you for always making everyone smile. The Easter decorations and events were beautiful, festive, and thoughtfully done, and we also appreciated how clean and well-maintained the property was. The groundskeeping and cleaning teams truly work hard behind the scenes. There were a few areas that could be improved. Our first swim-up room had some signs of aging, such as loose tiles and a loud toilet, and it stayed cold because it was mostly shaded. Thankfully, customer service helped relocate us to a warmer space with a much better ocean view. Some of the pool areas were also uncomfortable to walk through; there were small rocks on some paths, and the wooden planks near the main pool became extremely hot during the day. The café felt too small for the size of the resort, which led to long lines for coffee, dessert, and ice cream and the ice cream options were very limited. We also found the persistent timeshare pitches and frequent spa upselling to be distracting and not aligned with a luxury experience. The beach area comes with a surprise as well crocodile warning signs which may be important for guests to know ahead of time. For room service, the menu felt limited and alcohol couldn’t be ordered, so I had to walk to the main resort for drinks. Oddly, Coors Light was the only beer stocked in our room. Overall, despite a few inconveniences, the Royalton Riviera Cancun provided a wonderful family vacation. The exceptional customer service, enjoyable dining, fun activities, and welcoming atmosphere make it a strong choice for both families and couples looking to relax and have a great time.

  Great time, will be back next year.

  Best resort I’ve been to in Cuba. Obviously the Santa Maria beach is world renowned. This place also stuck out for good food. Service and entertainment - top notch. Will be coming back here exclusively. Learned merengue from Juan Carlos and Melissa!

  Great stay at the Royalton Splash Cancun

  We had an amazing stay at the Royalton Splash Cancun. We stayed here at the end of October and we had great weather, a bit of rain on one day. The hotel room was beautiful and clean, as was the rest of the resort. The restaurants were mostly good. We upgraded to Diamond Club and had access to the Diamond Club Breakfast buffet which we enjoyed better than the Standard Buffet. Most of the staff was amazing, with some staff making our stay even extra special: First to mention Luis in the Diamond Club bar, he’s a magician and entertainer in making the most beautiful cocktails. If you are unsure of what to have he will asks you a couple of questions and create something truly unique there on the spot. A very hard worker and a true gentleman. Happy, smiley Jorbin in the Diamond club pool bar is a good laugh and really looked after us during our stay. Arien from the entertainment team who kept our daughter entertained. She particularly enjoyed the waterpolo. Dulce, our butler, who would solve any problems at a heartbeat when if there was any issues. Alejandro at Hunters steak house, very attentive hard worker Sami at Smoke, again attentive hard worker and a gentleman. Hope credit will be passed on to them The only downside of this wonderful resort is the beach and occasional smell from the mangroves which we were aware of before booking. This did however not affect our stay
