  I can't say enough about the staff!

  We stayed at Royalton Hideaway in the Dominican Republic. Although our Butler left much to be desired, and the Vacation package sales people were out strong, there were so many other staff members that made our trip amazing!! We had some of the best waiters and Chef Alfredo made some of the most amazing dishes, but HANDS DOWN Rudy at the Hideaway Pool bar made our trip! This guy's infectious personality and energy kept us entertained each evening. We stepped out of our comfort zone and into vacation made while singing karaoke and dancing the night away while sipping on some of the best drinks!

  Was ok...just ok

  Had the diamond club swim out. The room was nice...the swim out was great and semi private. Which made the whole trip...without the swim out, we would not have been as pleased. You only get 1 bottle of liquor to your room. Which we were not aware of. We asked for a bottle of vodka and whiskey. We got the bottle of vodka. Next day we asked for a bottle of whiskey. Which then at that time we were told only 1 bottle per stay. So we asked to exchange the un opened bottle of vodka for whiskey...which was denied. And vodka was not a premium either...bottle of stolii.... asked out butler twice for a pillow and scent menu which never happened...and by then we just didnt bother asking....our butler only contacted us for dinner reservations twice..other than that we contacted him for dinner reservations...which honestly we could have done ourselves....the diamond club was good...glad it was just the hall..because we had togo there for cocktails....money machines were outta cash..had to hire taxi and go off of resort for cash. Over all the trip was "ok". We went to Royalton hideaway in Myan Rivera ....and was amazing!!!! The Royalton Puna Cana doesn't even come close to the Myan Rivera. We definitely r gojng back there. Doubt very much if we will return to Royalton Puna Cana. The lack of help and information from our butler was poor and resort honestly was just "ok"....

  Rudy Perdomo made our trip extra special everyday during our trip!

  My wife and I stayed at the Hideaway from September 11 to the 19th 2026. All of the staff at the hotel went above and beyond to make sure that we had everything we needed and wanted especially Rudy Perdomo, and Victor who was our butler. I highly recommend staying at this resort if you are staying in Punta Cana.

  ⭐️⭐⭐⭐⭐ Absolutely amazing holiday – would 100% return!

  Royalton Punta Cana was honestly one of the best hotels we’ve ever stayed at. From the moment we arrived, everything was brilliant. The hotel itself is beautiful, the food was amazing and the atmosphere throughout the resort was fantastic. A special mention has to go to the staff at the Hideaway pool bar, especially Yohana and JP. They were so friendly, attentive and always went above and beyond to make sure we had the best experience. They genuinely made our pool days even more enjoyable and were a real highlight of our stay. The choice of restaurants was fantastic and we were really impressed with the quality of the food. There was always plenty of choice and every meal we had was lovely. The whole resort had such a great atmosphere, and the staff really made the experience. Everyone we came across was friendly and welcoming, which made the holiday even more enjoyable. We honestly couldn’t fault our stay and were so sad to leave. We would absolutely return to Royalton Punta Cana and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a fantastic holiday. 🌴☀️🍹

  Don’t listen to everyone being negative!

  We stayed at Royalton Punta Cana for 11 nights as Hideaway and Diamond Club guests. Overall, we had a really enjoyable holiday. The resort itself is beautiful, with aesthetic decor throughout. Our room was a good size with a nice balcony, although cleanliness could have been better. The floor often seemed dirty, the bedsheets appeared to have the same stain for most of our stay so not sure these were changed at all, and some towels had stains, although these were changed regularly. We loved the Hideaway pool and spent most of our days there. The layout suited us much more than the main pool, and the waiter service was excellent. JP deserves a special mention for always being entertaining and full of energy. Dorado, the Hideaway restaurant, and Hunter Steakhouse were our favourite dining options. The buffet wasn’t really to our taste for dinner, and we weren’t fans of the Mexican. The Italian food was okay, but unfortunately some of the service there was particularly rude. The Diamond Club beach bar and snack truck were also good options for lunch. Drinks were generally good and proper branded alcohol was available, although fizzy drinks were often flat and bar service was slow. Our favourite cocktails were the Piña Colada and Blue Hawaii. We enjoyed having Diamond Club but wouldn’t say it was worth the additional cost for us. Our butler, Victor, was helpful with restaurant bookings and anything we asked him to do, although we had to chase him regularly for the minibar. Unfortunately, he finished working the day before we left and we weren’t assigned another butler for the remainder of our stay. We did enjoy the Diamond Club lounge and the included hydrotherapy session (to note the steam room and sauna are split male and female) The beach wasn’t really usable during our stay due to sargassum, although the hotel did make efforts to clean it. We’re mainly pool people, so this didn’t affect us too much. Air conditioning could also be improved around the resort, although our room was nice and cool. Many indoor areas lacked cooling which is disappointing when it is so hot. Staff were very mixed. Some were lovely, while others came across as rude or uninterested. Entertainment was also mixed, although we particularly enjoyed the Michael Jackson show. We did notice quite a lot of negativity from other guests while we were there. Having read negative reviews before travelling, we expected the resort to be much worse than it actually was. There are definitely areas that could be improved, but we still had a really enjoyable holiday and wouldn’t describe the resort as being anywhere near as bad as people suggested. It’s important to remember that everyone’s experiences are different so hearing that you are having the worst holiday ever when you’ve just arrived is very off putting. Overall, we would enjoyed Royalton Punta Cana, but personally wouldn’t pay the extra for Diamond Club again as we didn’t feel the additional benefits justified the price for us.
