Nov 20, 2025I wouldn’t recommend this hotel
I wanted to give this a great review but I just couldn’t. This past weekend my cousin & I stayed at the Royalton Hideaway Punta Cana (Adults only side) for my birthday November 13th-18th. We were also Diamond Club members which included a butler, swim out pool & certain amenities that were strictly exclusive to Diamond Club members. (luxury). Boy was that a lie. It’s not worth it! Upon entry into our room.. it smelled like old water/mildew & mold. I kept smelling an odd smell coming from the AC vent and mentioned it to our butler. He arranged for us to have our rooms switched the next day. Guess what? Same thing in the new room except for this time.. I could actually spot the mold on in the showers. I knew I wasn’t crazy. I kept smelling something but couldn’t quite frankly put my nose on it. At that moment I found it. My cousin kept saying that our sheets on the bed felt wet. The housekeeping manager came & instead of actually fixing the problem.. they painted over it 😒 When you’re a “Diamond Club” member as they put it.. it pretty much means luxury. Not with this place! Diamond club is not worth it I promise. Do not spend your hard earned money with this hotel! Oh yeah, I also wound up SICK with a COLD coming back home from the air quality & mold. They also tried to fake accommodate us/ shut us up with a little 25 minute massage on the day before we were leaving which was like at 4:30pm in the evening and we had dinner reservations at 7:30pm that night. We had to check out at 11am the next day. There would be no time! Below I’ll attach pictures of the walls and ceilings in the showers.

Amazing Hotel, Perfect Location, and Outstanding Entertainment From start to finish, our stay at this hotel was absolutely fantastic. The location is truly perfect – peaceful, beautiful, and ideal for a relaxing holiday. The food was excellent every single day, with great variety and high quality. We always found something delicious to enjoy. What really makes this place special, however, is the entertainment team. The animations and activities are on an exceptionally high level – far better than anything we have ever experienced in European resorts. The team is always smiling, full of energy, and ready to help at any moment. No matter when you ask, they will always assist you, even if it means giving up their own free time. A very special thank you to Yohana, an amazing animator who made our stay unforgettable. She is incredibly kind, always helpful, and easy to recognize – her beauty truly reminds us of Whitney Houston. We are extremely grateful for her wonderful spirit and the fun she brought into our holiday. We can fully recommend this beautifully located hotel to anyone. You will not be disappointed. We will definitely come back!

Honeymoon at Hideaway
The experience was great. We had a fantastic Butler, Manuel, who was always making sure we had just what we needed. He truly made our honeymoon the best. Anytime we had questions about anything he was very quick to give us answers and having him book everything for us made things so easy. Very very pleased with our service and everything else at the resort.

Honeymoon trip - Service and Staff
We had an amazing time! Laura our butler was so so helpful and nice! She made sure we had reservations every night, and checking in on us making sure that we had everything we needed at all times! We were on our honeymoon and she also surprised us with rose pedals and balloons in our room one night! She was the absolute best with exceptional service! Our bartenders at the hideaway Juan and Martha were also amazing! They made sure we always had drinks in our hands and were so fun to hangout and chat with! Alexander aka black coffee and our vibe team were also so much fun! They made sure we got our daily exercise in while making it fun and had games daily! They brought all the laughter during our days at the pool! Lucia our made was also the best she made sure our room was always kept nice and clean and she was so nice to talk to! Overall the staff was amazing here and made our trip! The daily and nightly activities were also so fun and the beach was beautiful!! We loved Dorado and zen the most! Room service was also so so good!!

Incredible stay with our butler, Nelio⭐️
Our stay was great, special thanks to Nelio, our butler, who helped us with everything we needed! He was always available when we needed and had answered to all of our questions! Can’t wait to return!
