  Relaxing and fun college senior spring break

  We stayed here as a group of 4 college students on spring break. Our room with 2 queen beds was beautiful and spacious enough for us! We booked on Expedia in January and payed $1200 per person for the flight, room with an ocean view, and Enclave access. Being a part of the Enclave was great! For the enclave members there was an expedited check-in process, special bar area in the lobby, and a beautiful rooftop area with ceviche and pools. We spent time at the Enclave lobby bar and had great drinks from Giancarlo who was very friendly and a creative mixologist! We didn’t think the alcoholic drinks were watered down from most of the bars we ordered from. Overall, we found the staff to be very nice and welcoming. The waiters were skilled and the entertainment staff was very enthusiastic, especially those who were leading the activities in the pool. As college students, we were looking for a resort with a relaxing environment but also some nightlife. The bar areas were lively until around midnight and there were shows happening every night, but stuff generally wrapped up around midnight. It is a family-friendly resort and great for relaxation, but you would have to leave the resort to find a club atmosphere that goes all night. We found the food to be quite good for an all-inclusive, especially the dinners. Our favorite place was the Asian restaurant where we had hibachi one night and sushi the other night. We also loved the ceviche we got from the enclave place. The breakfast buffet had lots of options and delicious omelets you could make to order. We also really appreciated the cafe, which was open 24/7 and had paninis, crepes, fresh fruit, and espresso drinks. The beach was beautiful. Kept very clean and the water was the perfect temperature to combat the heat. There was an area exclusive to enclave members so it was much easier to get beach chairs there rather than in the general area. The pools were also nice. One was kid-centric, one had a swim-up bar, and the other was were there would be activities. We mostly stayed to the adults-only whirlpools which overlooked the ocean. It was a great stay and experience overall! The only negatives we had were that our room service did not come when we ordered it one time and at a few of the restaurants the waiters who were very busy with many tables and couldn’t provide as much attentive service. Overall though, it is a beautiful resort with great staff and we got SO much value for what we paid.

  Amazing vacation!!!

  The resort, pools, and beach were awesome. The highlight of our stay was Giancarlo at the bar, who made the top-notch awesome drinks. His mixology skills are beyond fantastic and all his drinks tasted amazing. Ricardo, the server, at the Flama Steakhouse was also excellent, quick, and straightforward which we appreciated a lot. Santiago, the server, at Vela Buffet would meet us every morning and afternoon with a lovely smile and make sure that we were having a good time. Overall, we enjoyed our stay!   Mar Caribe exceptional service recognition - El mejor Orlando de restaurante chala and others

  Orlando was extremely hospitable each day during lunch. He brought a positive attitude and created a fun environment for my family. The kids looked forward each day getting ceviche at his restaurant. He is an example on why we will return to this hotel in the future. Sam and Andy from the kids club also did an amazing job at giving my kids a great experience and vacation. Irving from the bar was also a welcoming presence throughout the trip. He remembered our orders and quickly serviced many guests. Lastly, “Mr. Miyagi” was great as always. There are many other workers that I can’t remember by name that deserve recognition. Lily and Eloy also were a key reason we had such a remarkable experience.

  Best drinks ever!

  Best drinks, best bartenders ever, Irwing is the best bartender in the resort!!! Please ask for him and enjoy the delicious drinks!!! Thank you for your hospitality! Weather was beautiful and all the bartenders rock!!! Come and enjoy your stay!

  Fantastic Drinks!

  Find Irving and he will make your trip amazing. His drinks are fantastic! All you have to do is tell him some flavors you're in the mood for and he will create cocktails you have never heard of and they are amazing! Of course he also know all the regular drinks, but go with his creations instead.
