  Wow Curacao

  Direct on the beach, snorkeling is a must right HERE! very clean "all inclusive". Less than 200 rooms, easy to get to know people and mingle. Lots of food that will satisfy most. Very fresh. Would have enjoyed more flavors in my plate at the a la carte restaurants. One week goes fast on the site. Lots of beautiful beaches all around. Get out there and enjoy. Sun shines 7/7

  UVC/Hyatt resorts have been excellent in the past. The island of Curacao is beautiful, the resort is not worth it.

  This is an old club and desperately needed updates inside and out. One pool, World Cafe food was always cold and open food area always had flys landing on it.

  The Il Mare Experience in Curacao

  Staying at Il Mare was nothing short of amazing. It was an experience like no other to have beachfront bungalow while on vacation. Batellino and Blu were also amazing. I would say that the Dreams side of the resort needs to improve just a little so the difference between the two areas is less noticeable. Curacao is safe, the people are wonderful, the sand is warm and the water is clear and blue. Strongly recommend seeing Curacao!

  BOOK IL MERE

  All the things to know before going! PROS/CONS We stayed in the IL MERE pod. Best decision EVER. As a paying customer this was worth every penny and I would not recommend any other way for this resort. The view was spectacular and counted about 80 steps from the patio/deck to the break of water. CAUTION if booking the beachfront pods for the view there will be no direct access to water as it is CLIFF. The only room complaint would be the water running out of the shower onto the floor. Our butler Romke was fantastic! The food would be a reason for me to not return if I had any. Therefore, if included in your stay GO TO ZOETRY for all things food and make sure to take BUG SPRAY! Dreams did have oceana restaurant closed permanently without notification so that was disappointing. Number of places to eat are limited. Drinks at BLU bar on IL MERE side were great. Victor was an amazing bartender! Ask for the victor special if you like frozen coffee. All the staff at the IL MERE section were most pleasant!! but dreams side was a long wait, understaffed and not so personable. Looking for an excursion? To go Klein Island. Pack motion sickness medication if even you think you might not need it because the water gets choppy! Spa Day? Book for the end of the week and thank me later. After a week of walking and exploring your feet will enjoy a massage! Resort overall was nice and clean. Sand was clean. Snorkeling was great but bring your own gear! DONT say no to turn down room service, it was LOVELY! Water clarity was beautiful. No seaweed! And i found tons of seaglass and very cool shells!! Only one day did the noise from the resort next door become a nuisance. They must have been having a beach party. IL MERE was so quiet and peaceful. This is not a party resort if that is the vibe your looking for. Pack your own suncreen and lots of it!! Go to downtown early in the day to shop and eat! Thursday is busy due to fireworks..that last 3 mins!?!? Bus transportation is a small fee but stop running around 5-6 p, so you will need to pay for a taxi which can be expensive in comparison. Rent your own car to go beach hopping. Can be affordable if you book yourself.
