We stayed here for three nights prior to our cruise. Hesitant at first because we’d always stayed at Marriott properties with plenty of benefits close to the port. I have to admit this Hilton was our favorite hotel in Barcelona. Prior to our arrival the manager wrote to us asking if we had any requests. I asked for a couple of basic things, early checkin and extra towels, etc. I figured it was a form type of letter sent out to everyone however we were treated like royalty when we arrived and all of our requests were granted. Shocking! We were upgraded to an executive suite with an ocean view front. Beautiful view. We had breakfast in the restaurant each morning and it was nice, however crowded due to the hotel being at capacity. The executive lounge had a beautiful view and offered light appetizers and wine, etc. Housekeeping was amazing with towel animals, fun messages, extra towels, etc. Ingrid in housekeeping would be a plus to any organization! We ordered dinner from room service once. It was okay…very thick pizza and overly dressed salad, however it was okay. We decided to take a cab into the La Rambla area (18 euros) to go to our favorite tapas restaurant for lunch. The area was under construction and overly crowded. We didn’t feel all that safe and were so happy to be staying at the Hilton, away from all the commotion. We had dinner a couple of evenings at the mall across the street from the hotel, which was very upscale and clean. So happy we chose this hotel and would return without hesitation.

Exceptional stay
We stayed here for 4 days a special trip for our 29th wedding anniversary from the moment we arrived we were treated very special because it was our anniversary they upgraded us to an executive room and to the executive lounge for the duration of our stay which was a lovey gesture, The room was wonderful they had made swans and hearts out of towels left us a lovely message congratulating us on out anniversary and some chocolates, The breakfast was amazing i feel they catered for every taste and the fresh omlets were outstanding . That staff were all very friendly and helpful i really cant fault the hotel in anyway, fantastic location close to the beach which i was on every morning, they really did make our stay a special one, we love Barcelona its our 4th trip and this way by far the best hotel i have stayed in granted we were upgraded and had use of the lounge but they didn't have to do that but I'm sure if we still kept our standard room and no lounge we would of loved it as we don't really get the chance to stay in lovely hotels like that, we are hoping to return next year for our 30th anniversary and would look to going back to this hotel with out question, Also the views from the room were fantastic all in all an Exceptional experience for me and my wife many thanks to the hotel and staff for there professionalism and kindness's during out stay.

Top Notch Service
As a Hilton Diamond member I have high expectations since I have spent over 7 years of the past 25 in hotels. I had book a couple rooms in July for a 3 night stay with family. The service all 3 days was outstanding, starting with the young Polish kid temporarily working the desk at check in, and continuing to housekeeping, the executive lounge, the pool area, and restaurants. The breakfast buffet was fresh food and plenty of options. We had nice rooms that were upgraded for status and even had gifts delivered by managment. The lounge views were awesome but there is major construction along the beach (no noise in hotel though). A few employees really went above and beyond and made our stay very comfortable- shout out to Kiko, Maria, and Peter (poolside). Because I like to be completely transparent, I must say that the outdoor cooking area is clean and the staff looks and acts professional… but I have to give a negative comment to the food and beverage manager who should know better than to serve pre-prepared chicken quesadillas at the exterior pool restaurants. They are made at 10:00 am and sit all day in metal trays getting soggy and a bit gross. You can absolutely do this at the $7.50 price range but at almost $30 USD, they must be prepared to order fresh. This is not a heavy lift .

Very clean and safe hotel close to ocean. There is a mall right across the street that has everything you can imagine including excellent dining. We had to extend our stay due to the flight attendants strike at Air Canada. I must thank the guest relation staff and especially Lucrezia Odone for taking care of us so well. The matter in which Lucrezia took care of us eliminated lots of stress that was not needed. Thankyou again guest relations and thank you Lucrezia.

A Very Nice Experience
I stayed at this hotel for 15 nights in August with my family, and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. The location is excellent – just outside the main tourist areas, which made it much quieter and more relaxing, yet still extremely accessible. The nearest metro station is only a 5-minute walk away, and from there, it's less than 20 minutes to the city center. One of the best features of the hotel is that it's right in front of what I consider to be the best beach in Barcelona – clean, beautiful, and not overcrowded. A very special thank you to Lucrezia, the Guest Relations Manager, who went above and beyond to support us throughout our stay. Her attention to detail, kindness, and professionalism made a huge difference and ensured that our time at the hotel was perfect in every way. Highly recommended – we will definitely return!
