Five stars across the board
This hotel is perfect for everything you’d need in vacation. Walking distance to the beach, central to all of the best restaurants and all kinds of shopping centers nearby. Not to mention, our PHENOMENAL housekeeper (Maria) made us feel right at home!

Be warned, they are monitoring you!
Apparently they have installed some devices in the rooms to detect if you smoke or vape. I have no problem with this, but they don't tell you and charge you during your stay via text! No warning of additional monitoring devices in your room, what next? Cameras? The air conditioner pulls in air from outside and pulled in smoke from neighbors balcony. Guess who got charged! So on top of it the tech is faulty. Perhaps if I didn't have to run the AC all the time, it wouldn't have happened... AC runs CONSTANTLY.

Stay away
In simple words hotel is ok and easy walk to beach and restaurants. I paid expedia for my bfst and upon check-in front desk staff told me my bfst is included. Next morning i found out by restaurant staff that we will be getting credit $15 for each person and anything above $15 will come out of our pocket. Wait what :/ hotel does not have buffet system, you got to order it from menu and bfst is below average. I did not expect this from Hilton chain. Anyhow i had 3 bfst at the property and a night before my check-out i went to front desk to settle my bill. While checking the bill i noticed i was still being charged for the 3 bfst i had and i insisted this should be corrected since my bfst is included and as per the hotel im getting $30 credit for 2 person for each day bfst. To cut the story short front desk staff was nice enough to amend it for me. I requested that i should be given a bfst box for me and my wife since we not gona have bfst the next morning cos we are checking out 3am. The front desk staff said they gona check with manager if this request can be granted or if he can grant me credit for 2 bfst since we already missed 1 and the next we are checking out early. Anyhow he denied my request and i asked the staff to meet the manager personally. handrin or andrian FM came out of office & i politely asked him why wouldn't he make exception to get me bfst boxes next morning for me and my wife. He straight said he wont do it nor he will grant me credit for my bfst. Anyhow folks this guy was hella rude. I would never recommend staying at this property. And i know in reply they gona say ohh we know you were not satisfy with our service , hell yeah i was not and nor im ever coming back. This hotel is way too expensive and overrated and totally not worth the money i paid to stay there. Parking is $55 per night !!!!!

Great central location, nice hotel with nice market attached
Nice central location directly across the street from the International Market Place, which offers lots of places to eat and shop (and a new Target). We cut through the mall to reach the main street on Waikiki Beach. Little market connected right off the lobby which was so convenient for morning coffee and breakfast sandwiches, bagels. water etc. Rooms were comfortable and quiet, friendly staff.

Wonderful Stay at Hilton Garden Inn Waikiki...
Wonderful Stay at Hilton Garden Inn Waikiki From the moment I arrived at the valet drop-off, I felt very welcome. The attendant was friendly and even helped store my luggage while I waited for my room to be ready. I arrived early from the airport around 12 noon, and although check-in time was 3 PM, the front desk kindly checked me in and offered to hold my bags. While waiting, I had lunch at the Fire Grill next to the lobby. On the way to the restroom, I met a kind lobby staff member named Josie—a fellow Filipino. We had a short and warm chat about Manila. She asked if I already had my room and when I said it wouldn’t be ready until 3 PM, she offered to help. Around 1:30 PM, she said she would check with her friend at the front desk to see if a room was available earlier. Later, Josie came to the restaurant and brought me to the lobby, where she introduced me to Juni, another friendly Filipina at the front desk. Juni was very helpful and found a nice room for me right away. About the hotel: The hotel is very clean and feels new. The air-conditioning is easy to use and keeps the room at a perfect temperature. The bed is soft and comfortable—I slept very well every night. The pillows and linens were always fresh, and housekeeping did an excellent job, even replacing towels daily. The bathroom and shower area were spotless. The location is also great—close to shopping malls, local stores, and restaurants. Overall: I had a great experience. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the hotel itself is excellent. I would definitely recommend Hilton Garden Inn Waikiki to my friends. – Daniel Dalisay Starmedia Entertainment
