Best Resort in Cabo Across the Board - Especially for a Large Wedding Party
The Hilton Los Cabos has quickly become one of our favorite places to be. We booked HLC as our wedding venue over a year ago, and went in October for our tasting and site visit and then we just got back last week from our wedding and the week there couldn't have been more perfect. Everything about this resort is superb, from the service, the food, the accommodations, the environment, the views. We can't say enough good things about the hotel. As people who prioritize great food and service, this resort fully exceeded all of our expectations with every visit we had. We loved every food and drink item we ordered across the resort. Every staff member we met had a smile on their face and were some of the kindest people we had met in Cabo. We had four wedding events here throughout our wedding weekend and everything was executed perfectly. All of our guests raved about the team, the food, their rooms, the cleanliness, the ease of the resort, the beach access, truly everything. Our wedding guests have all said that they would love to come back to the hotel and I know that we are already planning our next trip down to the Hilton Los Cabos. We will always consider this our home in Cabo and we can't wait to come back.

Beautiful property, lack of hospitality from management
We stayed at this Hilton property as part of a very large wedding block, and while housekeeping and restaurant staff were consistently professional, the front desk and management communication were extremely disappointing. Prior to arrival, for months we attempted to resolve a price match issue because the wedding block rate was significantly higher than rates shown on Hilton’s own website and third-party sites. Despite screenshots with timestamps, we were repeatedly redirected and given inconsistent information with no clear resolution. We offered to cancel and rebook (per their policy losing the one night non refundable agreement) and they kept telling us they’d charge for the entire week, which is against the agreement. We (the entire wedding group) also received conflicting details regarding discounted golf (15% vs. 10%), and the “Altamar benefits” offered with a room upgrade were inconsistently executed. Airport transportation was another issue — we were told it was included, then not included, then included again via email, then reversed once more. It was ultimately covered after the hotel acknowledged the mistake, but the back-and-forth the day before departure was unnecessary and stressful. We made reservations at Lena Grill through the Hilton website via OpenTable, showing the restaurant as open. When we attempted to adjust the time by 30 minutes two hours before our reservation, it was canceled entirely and we were told the restaurant was not open. Most concerning was the lack of management follow-through. Before, during, and at checkout we requested to speak with a manager and were told we would receive a call — that call never came. We were also told we would receive an email from Emils, the supervisor, which we did and they never replied to our response on 1/28. We are fortunate to take one trip per year and extended this stay after missing travel last year. Unfortunately, the repeated miscommunication, contradictions, and lack of accountability significantly detracted from the experience. This did not reflect Hilton standards.

A fabulous resort!
My husband had his National Sales Meeting here last week. It was the nicest resort we’ve stayed at for his meeting in a very long time. The rooms were great, the grounds were immaculate and the service was excellent. We upgraded our room which gave us access to a Butler. We had Carlos and he was amazing! He took such good care of us and was always available when we needed anything. We would definitely go back.

Amazing Value and Experience
Out of the three places we stayed in Cabo (Hard Rock, Hilton, and Waldorf), this was by far our best experience. The staff was AMAZING. The rooms was such a great value with high quality for the price! The food was good, I honestly have no complaints. The adults only section of the pool is very very nice, quiet, amazing views. The pool staff is super attentive. We should have just stayed at this property for our whole trip. Now we know for next time!
