Jan 06, 2026Decent Hilton Hotel, easy walk to main attractions
We enjoyed our stay at the Hilton Milan. Moira greeted us warmly at reception and explained that part of the hotel was undergoing renovations. We told her about some of our terrible experiences at the Hilton in Turin and she provided us with complimentary Executive Lounge access. We didn’t really use the lounge (which was located in the Breakfast room during the renovations) but appreciated her genuine gesture. We had 2 connected rooms (1 King and 1 double room). The double room was renovated and nice. The king room was partially renovated (the bathroom) and was fine for our stay and good for families. Buffet breakfast was as you would expect for a Hilton in Europe. The hotel is about a 20 minute walk to the Duomo and other attractions. It’s a very quick walk to Milano Centrale.

Dec 19, 2025Disappointed with the Executive Lounge Experience
Unfortunately, the Executive Lounge is in very poor condition and falls far below the standards compared to other Hilton properties. The food and beverage selection is extremely limited, and the overall presentation and atmosphere are disappointing. Rather than a premium lounge experience, it resembles an employee cafeteria, which is not what one would expect from an Executive Lounge at a Hilton hotel. As a Diamond member of Hilton, I chose this hotel specifically for the Executive Lounge benefits, and this experience has not met reasonable expectations.

The service at Hilton Milan was exceptional, with smiling faces everywhere, especially at the front desk. I’d like to personally thank Viviana!. Her warm attitude and dedication truly made the difference

Distinctly average
Conveniently located close to the Central Train Station, this hotel has a lot of the usual features of a four-star Hilton. A few things could be better, though. The hotel seems to have rather poor insulation throughout and you can hear people talking/laughing from adjacent rooms or the corridor, and also cars from the busy street in front of the hotel – even on the top floors. The room service menu is rather basic and the quality of the food (I tried three different dishes and two desserts) could be better, especially in a city like Milan. While staff at the reception are quite friendly and professional, the room service man was abrupt and almost exploded in anger when I suggested that I add a tip to the bill as if I had insulted him or something (and I speak fluent Italian, so there was no language barrier there). Overall, an average stay.

Hilton Milan is a winner!
A late morning arrival with a 4pm check-in time had me hoping I could drop my bags and do a little exploring of the surrounding area (even though jet=lagged). However, our rooms were ready! It made my day! So nice to be able to shower and change after the all-night flight. The rooms have a refrigerator, comfortable beds, a desk and chair and another upholstered chair. Very nice walk-in shower and the usual European towel warmer. We purchased breakfast and it was OUTSTANDING…such a huge selection of items, very helpful staff, delicious breads and pastries, that wonderful European yoghurt, fresh juices, served coffee, cappuccino, etc. This hotel is in a great location, near Centrale Station so easy to take trains, subway, trams, etc. The station has a full sized grocery store in the lower level and lots of food options. We enjoyed Ronin, a nice local place a couple blocks away, also. There is a small bistro off the lobby that is a great place for a spritz late afternoon. There front desk staff, the concierge, everyone was friendly and gracious. Staying here again in a couple months and looking forward to it!
