Dec 01, 2025The kids will love the kids club
Had some issues with the room, the air conditioning did not work, and we had to have somebody come by a few times before that got resolved, the room really had not been looked over before we arrived, the quality of the restaurants was subpar, it was difficult to make reservations and a couple of the pools were empty as they were being worked on. The property is beautiful and the staff was extremely professional and helpful. The kids thoroughly enjoyed the kids club and everybody there did a great job. If you have young children, as we do, it's really all about the kids, and given that, the kids club was spectacular. I thank everyone there for making it a great trip. Thank you to Angel, Roshy, Cristal, Montse, Mich, Joss, Angie & Yadi .

This property is a fantastic choice for families looking for a great get together in a reasonable all inclusive resort! The property is clean, service is warm from most of the staff, and the offerings are robust at this price point. I was very impressed with the activities and the cleanliness of the Kids Club as well. The reservation for dinner can be tricky to procure, planning ahead is helpful. Drinks and food are plentiful, and the ocean view rooms have fantastic views. Our entire family including grandpa had a wonderful experience.

A Fabulous Time with the Family at Hilton Tulum
Had an absolutely Awesome time with the Family at the Hilton Tulum! The Experience, the Service, the Food, the Drinks and the Hospitality was EXCELLENT!!! A big thank you to Angel, Roshy, Cristal, Montse, Mich, Joss, Angie ,Karla & Yadi for taking such good care of our boys at the Kids Center!!! Nicolas at Vela Sur; Eduardo, Diego, Berenice, Alex at the Enclave; Andy and Salazar at Vela Norte; Omar at Maxal; David, Victor and Victorico at La Luce and Oscar at Noriku ... Muchos Gracias!!! You Guys are just AWESOME!!!

Warning!!! For me and many others, these are very accurate and valuable reviews regarding the restaurant's menu reservation system. How is it possible that after check-in, there's no option to make a reservation? There's not even an explanation from the hotel!

Overall - brilliant
We recently returned from 10 days staying at the resort and on the whole had a brilliant time. Food - breakfast spread was fab and the dinners were excellent in ALL restaurants (including Maxal, where we returned for a second night in spite of other reviews). Lunch was a bit lackluster at Vela sud, but the food by the pool and from the cafe were more than sufficient after a big breakfast. We had some challenges with our rooms, partly related to an error in their system and some works going on. Aside from that, the rooms were excellent and staff accomodating to moving us. We actually got an upgrade because our room wasn't available on checking in, so it felt very luxurious. The kids club were brilliant and our 4yo had an amazing time. Shout out to Angel, Roshy, Cristal, Montse, Mich, Joss, Liz & Angie - thanks for looking after her! For those visiting with kids, just know that you have to take your kids at lunch and dinner time for meals / there is a family time slot at lunch and dinner where you must accompany or take your child. This wasn't a problem for us as staying in vila 6, which is perfect for kids club, family pool and splash pad (also brilliant) While the beach areas are limited, we enjoyed going in the sea, very close to pelicans and other wildlife. We saw a lot of aquatic life too, including a ray in the bay by the main hotel. Overall, a brilliant holiday, great resort, friendly and attentive staff and excellent food. Thank you Hilton Tulum!
