Boys loved kids club
We wish we would have gone to kids club right when we arrived. Our boys enjoyed 2 out of 6 days at kids club. The boys absolutely loved it and the staff there is so amazing. Thank you so much for making our trip even more special!

Excellent!
We loved the Hilton Tulum Riviera Maya resort. It's a beautiful place with stunning design and a relaxed and happy vibe. This resort is VERY large, and most amenities and restaurants are clustered around the main building. Your "casa" may be a good distance away, but a safe walking route is available and they have van shuttles which circulate around the casas to take you too and from the main building. Very little waiting time. Very good system. Pools and beach areas are lovely and well maintained. Pool towels are excellent and provided without complication. Service pool- and beach-side can be spotty, but servers are mostly hustling to look after you. Great folks. Rooms are very nice. Good linens, comfortable beds. Very nice lavatory and shower set up with quick hot water. Nice! In room mini fridge is restocked and you can request whatever your want. In room snacks need work -- packaged cookies and chips. No. Plenty of fruit available at breakfast - everyone leaves with a banana it seemed! The restaurants were really very good. Much better than other All Inclusive resorts I've been to in the past. The breakfast buffet is quite varied and offers very good food. Each of the restaurants has a unique decor and menu. We particularly enjoyed the Mexican restaurant and the Chop House. Hibachi within the Japanese restaurant was lackluster. All restaurants require reservations! Would suggest reaching out pre-arrival to concierge for best selection if you're picky about dining times. Wines and liquor were good brands. They also have a coffee shop/cafe near lobby, which is great for a grabbing an iced-coffee or snack, and gelato. Gym is adequate. Limited offerings of fitness classes. Promised evening entertainment was a big bust in my opinion. Geared towards children with animated videos, stupid dancing puppets (or something - not sure), and only one cultural dance performance. They need to up their game here. Very disappointing as we would have loved to linger outside in the beautiful evenings for entertainment. The associated spa is extremely nice and also extremely expensive. I must say I did have probably the best massage of my life there, but still overpriced IMHO. Overall -- would recommend!

Creating New Memories at Hilton Tulum
My husband, son and I just returned from our winter vacation at Hilton Tulum. The resort is absolutely beautiful, and I appreciated the difference in the landscape. We were never bored! You can do as much or as little as you want at this resort. If you want music and games, then you can position yourself at one of the pools near Casa 3 or the main building. If you want quiet, then just move to another pool, the beach or the adult only pool. My son is 19 but the kids splash area near Casa 6 looks like the perfect space for anyone with younger children. One of my favorite activities was kayaking against the surf. We took our own snorkels and spent a few hours just swimming around. The waves were too high during our trip so we were not able to take advantage of the paddle boards. We took water shoes based upon other reviews but found that it was not necessary. We enjoyed the beach area and spent a lot of time in the ocean. The resort is in a perfect location to watch the sunrise over the Ocean and sunset over the natural scenery surrounding it. Don't miss these opportunities!! We ate in every restaurant and enjoyed all of the experiences. My husband and son's favorite restaurant was La Luna but a lot of it had to do with the waiter we had during both visits. I prefer to eat grilled/sauteed vegetables and yogurt with cottage cheese for breakfast and this resort nailed it!! They changed their vegetables every morning and had the most amazing cottage cheese ever! I know it may seem weird to get excited about cheese, but I am from Wisconsin, so we take our cheese seriously! We have been seeking similar cottage cheese since we returned! My preferred foods are lean meats and lots of vegetables, so I was able to find this with every meal. My family had an amazing time both on and off the resort. The resort is perfectly located if you want to visit Tulum or Playa del Carmen. Take advantage of all of the well-being/fitness activities and gym. Monica is the fitness coordinator and does an amazing job making sure you have a positive experience. This is just a little peek at my experiences....I encourage you to go to Hilton Tulum to create your own memories and experiences!

Trip to Tulum
My wife, sister-in-law, and I traveled here in March of 2025, and we had a phenomenal experience. The weather for the food, the rooms, the quality of service from all the staff, and the overall ambience of the resort were through the roof. My wife and I had our own room, and connected was my sister-in-law's room, and both had their own balcony stunning views of the ocean and resort. Walking around the resort was really easy, and the golf cart to the other buildings came frequently enough that I rarely found myself waiting for a ride. The options at the restaurants were fantastic, and do require booking when having dinner, which was also great. There were some pretty entertaining shows over at the main part of the beach, but each nook and cranny had its own form of entertainment (churro stall, private beds, etc). If you're looking for a resort to stay at during your visit to Mexico, this should be where you're top choice!

Good family vacation with some improvements needed!
Visited the property as a family of 13 with 2 of the kids being 4 and under. Stayed for 6 nights. The property is beautiful and very clean. It took us about 15 minutes to walk from one end of the property to the other, but shuttles and carts are available if walking is not preferred. Rooms are a great size and are comfortable. We had everything we needed in the rooms and our mini fridge was constantly restocked with drinks, water and snacks. There were water stations near the elevators to refill water bottles as well when needed. All of the restaurants require a reservation for dinner. It was very easy to make the reservations with the concierge. We made the reservations for all 6 nights as we checked in. Food was good at each restaurant with kids options offered at each. The breakfast buffets were great and had all you would expect for a breakfast buffet. The lunch buffets could use a little improvement with the variety of options available. Most of the staff were absolutely lovely. If this review was just based on the staff, I would give them a higher rating. From the check in desk, concierge, waiters, room service attendants, photographer, bell hops, van drivers and kids club employees, all were professional, kind and welcoming. The gym was great and clean. When outdoors, we spent most of our time on the beach by the lobby and the pool at Casa 6. All the pools were very pretty, but the pool by Casa 6 was heated and closest to the kids pool and playground. The kids loved the playground area. We never had to “fight” for chairs at the beach or pools and the seaweed on the beach was very very very minimal. Swim towels were readily available at all the pools and on the beach. What could use some improvement: The frequency and marking of the shuttles and carts. There was a conference going on while we were there causing us at one point at lunch time to wait over 20 minutes for a shuttle from the lobby to our room. Other times we only waited 3-7 minutes for a ride, but with impatient kids, the wait times were sometimes very difficult. The vehicles are also not well marked. Some are used for the bell hops, some are just for the resort employees and some are used for guests. There is no marking on them for differentiation so you think they are there for you, but they are not. The lunch buffets did not open on time any of the days we were there. They were always at least 15 minutes late if not longer. The seating arrangements especially at the breakfast buffet between Casa 5 and Casa 6. On our first morning there, we went to breakfast and told them there would be 11 of us in total. At the time, there were only 3 of us there. There was almost no one at the restaurant. Instead of putting us at one of the large tables (only 1 was being used at the time), they seated us at a table for 4. When more of our family arrived, we pulled one of the empty tables right next to ours over to make a table for 8. The hostess came over and yelled at us telling us this was not allowed. We could either stay at the table we were at and not sit together or we could all get up and move to one of the bigger tables. We were there on a family vacation and wanted to enjoy time together. We all had to stop eating and drinking, pick up all our plates and drinks, get a toddler situated and move to one of the bigger tables that we could have just been seated at in the first place. It was extremely frustrating and not how we wanted to begin our morning. There was never anyone on the lobby beach to assist with opening umbrellas. Waiters were very seldom available at the beach and pools to take drink and food orders during the hours they should have been readily available and had advertised. Normal wear and tear and little things that can make a difference: some of our family had problems with their room keys/bracelets and had to call security to be let into their rooms, the one sliding door at the buffet between Casa 5 and 6 barely opens and there is no shower by the main entrance of the lobby beach to rinse off. It overall was a good trip with a few little things that need improvement to make it great. Would recommend for families.
