Comfortable room, great location, no noise.
Came to Honolulu for a weekend. This Hilton is located off the main road and beach, but totally walking distance from everything. I had the 36th floor with an amazing view! Neighbors smoked marijuana from their balcony, so you couldn’t keep the balcony door open if they were outside. Never a line or a wait for the elevators. The hotel provided beach towels and chairs, I also got a nice tote bag to keep from the concierge. Lobby bar drinks were awful, but luckily ABC store was around the corner.

Terrible restaurant
The hotel was comfortable with a nice pool. But the restaurant is terrible. I had a B&B tariff but was told very firmly on the first morning that it only included 1 drink. I think it was a language issue. On my last evening I had dinner there, I ordered nachos and then the ribs, the waiter had the temerity to suggest that was a lot of food ☹️ it’s difficult to get nachos wrong but they came covered in a disgusting sauce (that was supposed to be cheese) it made me gag 🤢 to add injury the ribs arrived before I had finished my starter. There were on two other tables occupied and now I know why. The service was as disgusting as the food

Hotel good - Meeter/seater staff not so good
Hotel in an ideal spot for Waikīkī beach. Trolley bus stops right outside. Pink Line Hop on/off all you need for Waikīkī. $5.50 pp. Hotel good. My only complaint was the greeter/seater (Berna) at breakfast. We made the mistake of requesting a different table on first morning (we also had coupons) & after that were treated very differently from other guests. She was surly& aloof. I think anyone in the service sector needs to have a good attitude with guests. All other restaurant staff were most pleasant & helpful - even the Robot.

Not A Beach Resort
This hotel is not a Beach Resort & Spa. The beach is several blocks away. If there is a Spa, it is in the basement as I could not find it. The pool is small. The employees are friendly. Food options limited at main restaurant. Why is there no fish entrees like Mahi or Ono as this is Hawaii? I would say this is a mid range hotel option, not a resort. Spend $100 more a night and be on a resort like Marriott properties such as Moana Surfrider, Sheraton, etc….
