We love Hokulani and will definiely continue to come here. You cant beat this property. It's absolutely beautiful ! Love the kitchen and big fabulous bathroom. The shower is one I wish I had in my house!! Very luxurious. We have stayed at Hokulani before and will stay again. It's perfect, not too busy, easy to access everything, very walkable around town with tons to do and places to eat. Easy 1/3 mile walk to the beach. We cant wait to come back! - Johm 3:17

Birthday Staycation
We stayed to celebrate my wife's birthday at the "heavenly star", Hokulani. Always excellent customer service from the front desk, bell, valet, housekeeping, and maintenance teams, providing us a wonderful guest experience. We love staying this time of year because the Hokulani Christmas decorations are always beautiful. The Hokulani staff are the reason we look forward to our staycations here. Thank you to Zachary, Brian, Trey, Yoko, James, Marin, Keith, Arnold, Ken, Brandus, Allen, Paul, Demie, and Bazel, for always welcoming us with genuine Aloha when we stay. We look forward to our next visit!

Dec 22, 2025Amazing Option in Oahu
My parents own a Hilton Grand Vacations timeshare and we decided to stay here for our family trip to Oahu in June 2025. We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel and would definitely come back for future trips. What we liked most: The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. They definitely elevated the experience and quality of the hotel. When we had an issue with our refrigerator, the staff were ready to help us find a solution. We also loved the room layout and design - with three people we had more than enough room. The bathroom was huge and luxurious. Some previous reviews expressed frustration with the view and the noisiness of the neighboring building - the view wasn’t great and while we could hear some noise, it wasn’t something that we noticed often. The view from the rooftop deck made up for what we couldn’t see from our hotel room window. The pool was small, but worked well for us because we spent most of our time at the beach, which is a short walk across the street. The location was amazing as it was near all the shops and restaurants. We loved everything about our stay here, and will definitely be coming back!

The elevator was so loud we had to check out early, there was no room that a guest could get away from it. The bed was more like a futon. They charged a resort fee of $35/ day. Not sure for what. Right down town Honolulu, so city noise of police sirens. The plumbing in the bathroom made periodic groaning sounds. Very cheaply done renovations.
