No water
I stayed for one night, around 8:00 or 9:00 p.m. there was no more water at the hotel. I have to leave early the next day for 7:00 a.m. and still couldn't shower. Too many guests complaining as the hotel did not want to refund them and it was taking too long so I couldn't ask for a partialrefund for myself.

Unreachable hotel & IHG is zero help
We are tying to modify our stay and IHG says we can only do so via the hotel. IHG seems incapable of speaking with their own hotel, whose number is inaccurate and the hotel doesn’t respond to email. How is it that an international hotel is unable to communicate in a timely manner with its own hotel and there are no consequences for the local hotel other than we are now stuck losing points and time as unhappy customers?

Felt Judged and Unwelcome at This Hotel
I had a disappointing experience with a particular hotel employee. I suffer from back issues, and after a long day of swimming or walking around the city, I needed a therapeutic massage. I arranged for a professional therapist to come to my room—she arrived in her uniform with all her equipment. However, the receptionist called me down to the front desk and began asking uncomfortable and inappropriate questions, such as, "Are you sure she is here only as a therapist?" To avoid any misunderstanding, I booked a male therapist the next day, also dressed professionally in his clinic uniform. Yet, the same receptionist questioned me again in the same manner. By the third day, I realized she was still on duty, and I chose not to book a therapist at all, meaning I had to endure unnecessary pain. I was tempted to confront her about this repeated behavior, but I didn’t want to ruin my vacation. However, I left feeling disappointed and unwelcome. A hotel should respect the well-being and privacy of its guests rather than making them feel uncomfortable for seeking legitimate services.

Enjoyable stay marred by an irritating free "drink"
The breakfast was good and coffee excellent. We were upgraded to a bigger room due to our status. We have an apartment across the street that was rented out so we know the area. Gym had a universal machine that looked older than the hotel and did not work properly. Pool area was nice and clean. However, one irritating thing. They gave us a coupon at check-in to "treat yourself to a drink." Aside from the fact that we are two, I took the voucher to the pool bar and asked what drinks were available? The bartender said no alcoholic drinks and it appeared that the "drink" was not available. What? I asked at the front desk and the lady said that the drink was a special non-alcoholic juice that was the "drink." I told her that a drink in my country and at other Holiday inns usually was an alcoholic drink and that giving someone a worthless coupon is worse than nothing and I would have preferred the points benefit we were entitled to. She agreed that was odd. So to avoid giving someone points they give them a voucher for a "juice." So the poor rating is because of irritating coupon that I had to waste my time on.
