Amazing stay with great food and location!

Outstanding service, food, and amenities! The staff was amazing including Victoria, Ladd, Tevita, and Damian. They took great care of us, and went out of their way to ensure we were safe, happy, and enjoying the resort. Highly recommend this location and food !

Great for people visiting Cayman residents

Highly recommended for anyone visiting Cayman residents who live in the Seven Mile Corridor (especially Crystal Harbour). Our 3 visitors enjoyed a 2 bedroom suite directly facing the North Sound for over 2 weeks. The full kitchen, dining area, living room, and other amenities provided everything they needed to be comfortable over an extended period of time. The poolside restaurant is great - casual with delicious food - and service excellent (especially the waitress from Romania). The front desk is extremely helpful, and very commercial. And, the price was very reasonable for what we got (not sure there is better value for dollar in the area).

    Memorable, comfortable stay

Our stay at the Holiday Inn Resort was amazing! The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Our suite was clean and tidy when we arrived. The atmosphere was so warm and welcoming. There’s a place to buy a sting ray city/snorkel tour on the grounds that leaves right from the dock at the resort that was convenient and the captain and crew are fantastic! I would definitely stay here again.

    Relaxing

My husband and I stayed at the Grand Cayman in November 2025. The lobby was very nice and bright. There was a gift shop that sold pretty well anything you wanted from souvenirs, snacks and beverages. There’s also a heritage room that had photos going back to the 1930s. The grounds were immaculate, lots of greenery, beautiful flowers and sitting areas throughout the resort. We stayed in a 2 queen studio that was very large, clean, double sinks, plenty of towels and two queen beds. Our room also had a kitchenette, that had a microwave, mini fridge, coffee maker, dishes, paper towel, etc. The beds and pillows were comfortable with all white linen. The Driftwood Bar and Grill was located by the pool area. There’s lots to choose from on their menu as well as many drinks. The pool area is very clean with lots of towels and loungers. The beach area is somewhat rocky. There is an area that you can swim from shore and there is also a pier that you can swim from and use the ladder. There’s a water sport hut, located by the pool area and we booked an excursion from our pier to Stingray City where we swam with the stingrays and did some snorkelling. The hotel offers a free shuttle within 5 km of the resort. We took the shuttle and went to Georgetown where we did some sightseeing, bought souvenirs and had lunch at an Italian restaurant. We also took the shuttle to Fosters, a grocery store, however, it is on the pricey side. We also went to Seven Mile Beach with gorgeous, white sand, and crystal clear blue waters. I’ve been to many resorts that have cats wandering around that look like they are starving and not taken care of but all the resort cats here are well fed spayed, and neutered, and vaccinated. I definitely recommend this resort to others and I hope to return one day in the future.

    Adequate. Not extraordinary.

Quiet, clean. Has no beach but has a sizeable clean pool. Lovely gardens. Restaurant is adequate but nothing memorable except how nice the serving staff was. Hotel lost internet one day (did not have or offer a business lounge), and lost ALL power the next day, making physically moving to a new location a necessary to get work done. The exercise room is not really adequate. Treadmill did not work, elliptical in poor shape. Bicycle was ok, weight machine (small in the corner) was just ok, barely adequate for anyone serious about exercising. On the flip side, the gold course can be run around, and on the paths, so that's good. Staff is friendly and helpful. The small fridge in the room's compressor is failing and froze all of our food. We reported it, twice, and nothing changed. finally, the hotel only has one, long and winding and pothole-laden road with speed bumps to get to it and to get back which circumnavigates the golf course. The beds were absolutely fine, comfy, towels for pool provided, and front desk staff helpful. Wish the restaurant was a destination with GREAT food, but it is not. Nor is there coffee (regular or otherwise) available early in the morning if you are there for work. I continued to go to the Westin for morning coffee prior to work. All First world problems, but a fair review nonetheless for the price of the room. Plentiful parking if you have a car and the taxis come frequently.
