Home in paradise - Hokulani 1019
We loved our family unit on the 10th floor. We had enough space for everyone to sleep comfortably and to chill after our days on the beach and snorkeling. The kitchen was great as we could make big breakfasts and suppers. It was also close enough to all the pools and the beach to pop back for cold kid and adult drinks. We loved having supper on the deck and watching the sunset. Highly recommend for families with grandparents and kids.

Wonderful Family Vacation
We had a wonderful family of 14 (ages 5-68) stay here. We stayed in the Konea side and the rooms very spacious, clean and stocked with essentials like dish soap, laundry detergent and towels. Outdoor lanai’s added extra living area. The resort is right on the beach so perfect for kids and sunbathing. Pools were generally busy with pool chairs almost always “taken” early on with towels but kids enjoyed the slide, hot tubs and pools. Very family/kid friendly resort. Easy parking on site with cheerful valet if you choose. Check in and out was a breeze. We did have one unit out of our four that had a bad mattresses but overall all our needs were met. Beach chairs are available to rent for $45/week which is well worth the money. Duke’s restaurant on site was great for a quick drink or dinner. Would highly recommend this resort.

All is good except lack of CS after
The villa units are amazing, beautiful! Modern, clean , with all the basic needs. You can even rent for additional money, a wagon and portable cribs if needed. The staff was responsive, before and during our stay. The reason for the 4 stars was the lack of care, response, consideration after we left. I left one of my packing cubes ( with all stuff Lululemon and Alo, not cheap!)I realized the day after it was missing. I called left messages, no response. Finally on the 3rd or 4th call someone answered and said they would check with house keeping. No call back. Sent several emails, even a direct email to the company we rented from, nothing. Months later I am still waiting for a call back. lol. I paid 12k for the unit can we at least get a call back! Very disappointing to feel that they just cared about our money before the trip!

A Fantastic Family Retreat at OUTRIGGER Honua Kai
We had an amazing family vacation at OUTRIGGER Honua Kai from October 4–11, renting units 609 and 613 for our group of eight adults. Returning after 10 years, we found both condos spacious and comfortable, with thoughtful extras like beach chairs and boogie boards ready for us. Room 613 was beautifully renovated, and the new vinyl floors were a big upgrade. Unit 609 was also in great condition—maintenance promptly fixed a thermostat issue. The only small downside was the lack of chaise lounges on the balcony. While the rooms themselves were wonderful, the exterior and building felt a bit less polished than before, but overall we had a fantastic stay. Highly recommend for families!
