  Disappointing hotel

  This is not a 5 star hotel. If you come expecting that it will be, you will be disappointed. If you come expecting a 3 star hotel then you will probably enjoy it. The staff are amazing. They are helpful, friendly and will go above and beyond to make you feel welcome. They are the redeeming feature of this place. The location is also good. It’s very close to the beach and has lots of restaurants and supermarkets close by. It’s not the best bit of the beach though as it’s where the jet skis are making it hard to relax in the water. The rooms were basic and needed refurbishment. The cleaning staff did a great job of making up the rooms everyday but it was old and tired so felt grubby all the time. There is no coffee making facilities (in Colombia where they have the best coffee??!!!) and no water given. One of the beds collapsed during our stay (not from anything we did!!). They did come and fix it but we had to chase several times. The shower is terrible unless you are 5 foot tall. It was so low that I couldn’t fit underneath it so had to tilt it which lost most of the pressure. When you’re at a beach hotel you need a good shower! The breakfast was basic and not what you’d expect from a hotel claiming to be 5 stars. It also had the worst coffee we tasted in our time in Colombia. They insist on pouring it for you but if you ask for milk you get a whole cow, making it undrinkable. It would be better if they let you get your own so you can make it how you like it. The pool and “rooftop bar” (which is barely that) have short opening hours and absolutely no shade from the sun. This hotel over promises and under delivers and the price does not reflect what you get.

  Wonderful Hotel - Recommended to everybody

  Wonderful hotel. Spacy rooms. Full ocean view. Nice Pool and Jacuzzi. Lots of restaurants and shopping in a walkable distance.

  Excellent athmosphere and customer service. Great five stars Hotel . I'd like to come again and I recomend to all my friends this place. It was a great experience to my family in special : My son and his Birthday . Clean, nice staff, delicious Food and great gym and pool

  Clean, comfortable, excellent staff, exceeded my expectations

  Charming hotel with the character, the staff is excellent, friendly, and professional. The hotel exceeded my expectations. It is a good value for the money. Breakfast was tilted towards Columbian style, but I always was satisfied with the food and the excellent service in their restaurant The room was clean and comfortable, the bathroom UpToDate and modern. The amenities were fine but could use some updating. I did not use the pool, but the area was nice.

  A good option in Cartagena

  The hotel is clean and very well located. The apartment we stayed in is old, and the lighting is confusing. There is no direct elevator access to the upper floors. To reach the second floor, you take one elevator and then need to switch to another. The breakfast is quite varied. The highlight is the pool — very good and well-equipped.
