  St Croix hotel

  The people were nice and professional. The hotel is on the boardwalk, close to places to eat and a $5 water taxi to the beach across the harbor. My only issue with the hotel room was that the A/C just couldn’t keep up with the daytime temperatures. During the night it would get the room cool but during the day the room would get hot. The waitstaff at the restaurant (Rumrunners) was nice, professional , and friendly.

  Room with a view and a stellar experience!

  It was our 10th anniversary. The room was bright, cheerful. spotless, and provided us with everything we needed and our view was beautiful. Shops, restaurants, and tours were right next door and along the boardwalk. The staff were welcoming, friendly, and responsive! We paid for the overnight parking, but we were staying for an all day tour the next day. The staff suggested how to obtain a parking space for the next morning which worked out perfectly. When we returned from our tour, we made a quick change and headed to the airport. Upon arriving at the airport, I realized that I had left my phone in the restroom near the attached restaurant, Rum Runners. The staff at the front dest went over to the restaurant to get my phone and held onto it until I could send a taxi driver from the airport back to Christiansted to retrieve it and return it to me before takeoff! I was so impressed with everyone working together to resolve the dilemma. Thank you to the stellar staff at the front desk at Caravelle Hotel!

  Great hotel in a great location

  After a bad experience at a different hotel, my wife and I made the decision to leave and found this hotel available on trip advisor last minute, and checked in 30mins later. We were very happy we decided to relocate to the Caravelle! Upon check-in we were greeted with a smile, went over the hotel and then the “Ambassador” took us to our room. The room was well kept, clean and comfortable. Stocked with coffee and bottles of water. We had a great view of the bay. It was quiet and everything worked perfectly. We were treated to a sunset every night right out of our window. The location of the hotel is ideal. We were right on the boardwalk, 5-10 min walk to many restaurants, bars and shops. We did rent a car, there is paid parking onsite, and driving was easy using a GPS, we’re 30 mins from west coast beaches, 20 mins from airport and 30 minutes from most activities on East side. Perfect hotel in a perfect location, highly recommend

  Best experience ever on my first visit to St. Croix!

  First time visiting St. Croix. Stayed at Hotel Caravelle for a week. From the room, to the staff, to the location... this hotel deserves 5 stars. The bed was very comfortable, and the room very spacious offering extra space. felt very safe as they lock the entry gates after hours which are only accessible with the hotel key card. The location could not be any better right on the boardwalk, making it easy and convenient to access everything on the boardwalk and more. 3 minute walk to catch the ferry to Hotel Cay beach (fantastic beach). the 3rd night of my stay the ac unit in my room quit working. I called the front desk, and within minutes they responded and not only gave me a new room with a working ac, but they also upgraded my room for the inconvenience. Sandy the hotel manager is magnificent, and Hillarie Joseph at the front of the hotel is a total gem. not only is the staff at this hotel professional, they're very efficient, informative, friendly, and extremely attentive. highly recommended. I will stay here again in the future.
