The whole experience was great. Staff were friendly and attentive, the door men took our bags immediately upon arriving and leaving and always greeted with a smile and conversation (in spanish) Breakfasts had tons to choose from and the restaurant was great as well. The pool was nice and the beach behind was nice as well. The only issue we had during our whole stay was that on one of our days we were on the balcony and the room above us was being cleaned and the dirty water was being splashed down onto our balcony, making us go back inside of our room to avoid being soaked in dirty water. All in all it was a great time and I would definitely reccomend this hotel. I would like to note that none of the staff i encountered could speak English so knowing Spanish is a must here (luckily my fiancé is from Colombia so it was a non issue for us)

They have a great breakfast, nice views, nice people! I really liked the room and the beach access. In front of a store and close enough to everything!

Jul 21, 2025Very disappointed with the rooms
This was a second time at this hotel and despite the fact we made the reservation directly with the hotel and asked for a refurbished room it was a big disappointment when we came and saw the room. It looked very outdated and nothing similar to the pictures of the room advertised on the websites. Immediately we requested to change the room but the lady at reception said that it was one of the best rooms the hotel has which was a big disappointment. The furniture was falling apart, the wardrobe handle came off , the window handle was so rusty that we couldn’t open it , they brought the main Tv on the fourth day of our stay. My sister stayed in another room and they had to change it as the water was dripping from the air conditioning unit. They were not very impressed either. I think the owners need to allocate money for rooms renovation. Positives: the staff is very friendly and polite, specially the staff from who help with the breakfast. Special mention to the chef in charge of the omelettes who always had a smile and was very friendly. What a shame the rooms let the hotel down the hotel as it has good facilities.

5th time I’ve stayed at this hotel and it was a disappointment this time. The suite we stayed in was very outdated and not very clean. Furniture was falling apart, walls and floor in bad shape. Kitchen area and furniture was not very clean. Toilet was flooding bathroom. The staff were kind and helpful as always. The food in restaurant was good. Probably will look for new hotel next time we go to Cartagena.
