Must stay, friendly staff and beautiful comfy hotel
What a wonderful hotel! I had such a warm welcome and great stay. The location was good; not too far from the sights and lovely and quiet. Beautifully kept hotel and super clean. The staff were all friendly and breakfast was tasty. I travelled to Santa Marta and Tayrona for a few days the hotel kindly looked after my bags till I returned. I would definitely recommend staying here and will stay here again when I come back to Cartagena (I fell inlove with the city!).

Great hotel!
We had a wonderful stay at this hotel! Our room was spacious, comfortable, and the air conditioning worked perfectly. The staff was kind and attentive throughout our visit. Breakfast was included, which was a big plus for us, and it was absolutely delicious with a great variety of options. We also treated ourselves to the hotel's massage service for an additional fee, and it was incredible, highly recommended! The location was another highlight. Everything within the old city walls, including great restaurants was just a short walk away. We would definitely stay here again!

Great Experience
I had a fantastic stay at Hotel Kartaxa during my visit to Cartagena. The location in the Walled City was excellent—close to restaurants, shops, and all the historic attractions, yet still peaceful enough to relax after a day of exploring. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, and the staff made me feel welcome from the moment I arrived. Everyone was friendly, professional, and always willing to help with recommendations or any questions I had. The breakfast was a great way to start each day. The food was fresh and tasty, with a good variety of options, and the service was always attentive and welcoming. Overall, I had a wonderful experience and would gladly stay here again on a future visit to Cartagena.

An Absolute Gem in the Walled City – 10/10 Experience! This place is absolutely amazing! From the moment you walk in, you are greeted with incredible warmth. The concierges, Sergio and Carlos, were excellent hosts who went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. A special shout-out to Uiyers, who was so sweet and always had my coffee ready exactly the way I liked it every morning! Honestly, every single staff member we crossed paths with was friendly, attentive, and incredibly welcoming. The room itself was beautiful and kept spotlessly clean with daily housekeeping. As for the breakfast—it was a total 10/10! The location could not be better. It is perfectly situated close to everything in the Walled City. The mall is just around the corner, and Las Bóvedas is right across the street. We absolutely loved our stay here and can't recommend it enough!
