Loved this hotel. Good staff, friendly by and helpful, good value for money and large clean rooms. Location is great and its age all around.

The hotel is classic style and centrally located in Cartagena. There is a very beautiful courtyard and roof terrace overlooking the city's central square. The rooms are nice and functionally perfect. The hotel is very well run and the staff is friendly and very helpful. Not least the breakfast is excellent.

Perfect location, great staff.
The hotel is in the perfect location right outside the walled city but not in the thick of it. The pool is alright but mainly I'm giving 5 stars because the beds and rooms were comfy, the breakfast was delicious, and the front desk was so accommodating to our needs.

Fantastic roof top bar and pool!
This was truly a great experience. The hotel is very old colonial style with beautiful decor on the inside. Shower in the room is heavenly! The real bonus for us was the rooftop with bar/terrace overlooking the big square and old town below where you can watch the crowd go by and enjoy the sunset. There also is a roof top pool with enough sunbeds and a great atmosphere.

Lovely stay in a colonial style hotel.
Lovely hotel in a perfect location on the edge of Getsamani in the walled city. Rooms were immaculately clean, staff were wonderful - very helpful. We had a room overlooking the square that stays lively till the small hours, if like me you are a light sleeper ask for a room at the rear. Hotel benefits from a rooftop bar as well.
