    Negatives: no coffee maker, no washcloths available, no offered help with luggage, irritating elevator system, room not always cleaned daily, no food room service Positives: location, clean, great roof top bar with reasonable food there

    Always a treat to stay here

    An extra person joined us and while unable to add a bed or change room on the app, the front desk did set us up in a room with a sofa bed and minor extra cost. Access to the rooftop is always a great bonus and we make sure to use it to wind down with drinks and tapas.

    Roomy & Great Breakfast

    This is a good option for family or friends traveling together. The family room is essentially 2 separate bedrooms with an entry way & closet in between. The larger room had a king size bed but since it took up most of the room there was little space to set things in that bedroom. The other room had a desk though. The breakfast was truly amazing and expansive including GF options. The restaurant for dinner was however a little disappointing. The location has pros and cons for a sightseeing trip. It was lovely being able to see the skating rink and Christmas market from the room. With the windows closed the room was quiet (high floor). However, housekeeping always opened the curtains so sun shone in the room making it very hot. The A/C is off in the winter so you have to open the windows to cool it off. Gran Via is really busy all the time and wasn't that close to most of the sights we wanted to see.

    feel Madrid in Christmas

    every things was good, but the crew is the most important asset,We was surrounding for nice people, every time ,every place in RIU Plaza de Espana.

    Fantastic location with amazing views

    This hotel is in a great location with easy access to all the main attractions, whether you’re exploring on foot, metro, or taxi. A visit to the rooftop bar and the 360 Restaurant is a must, the views across the city are spectacular. Our room on the 24th floor had amazing views overlooking Plaza de Espana, the Temple of Debod, and the Royal Palace, which made our stay even more special. Breakfast was excellent with a great variety to choose from, and the freshly made pancakes were a personal favourite. Overall, a fantastic stay and a hotel I would recommend.
