Exceptional service
The staff were very helpful and friendly, the food was amazing as always and the pool side bar was welcoming and created a nice warm atmosphere. I enjoyed the service at RIU and will definitely stay again.

Riu Plaza Panama.A great experience
The workers were very courteous and accommodating even though there was a slight language uneven sometimes. This was not a barrier. Breakfast was very good selection. Enjoyed my stay

During our recent stays at the Hotel Riu Plaza Panama, we paid extra for the Crown Level Lounge, but the service was highly disappointing. The lounge had very limited opening hours and, on several occasions, food and beverages were depleted long before closing time and were never replenished despite staff being informed. We also had breakfast included in our rate, yet when we requested a breakfast box or any takeaway alternative for early morning excursions, our requests were repeatedly refused. Instead, we were told to purchase food at our own expense in the local 24 bar/store. We raised these concerns directly with management during our stay and submitted a written complaint before check-out and also to the official RIU customer service. The only response we received was a simple apology, with no meaningful corrective action, or attempt to compensate for the services that had not been provided. As RIU Class members since 2016, this was by far the poorest experience we have had with the brand. Based on our experience, we would not recommend paying extra for the Crown Level Lounge or booking a breakfast-inclusive rate if you plan to leave the hotel early in the morning, as the additional benefits may not provide the value promised and may simply represent an unnecessary extra expense; choose another hotel with better customer service.

Always Wonderful!
Every visit to Panama City, I stay no where else! The location is close to everything, and the staff is professional and knowlegable. Oh, did I mention the hotel is whusper clean with a breakfast that is NUMBER ONE in the city?! Stay here; you will love it!
