Oct 05, 2026Great value and comfortable stay in the city
I enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The rooms are spacious and comfortable for a city hotel, and the location is excellent, with a shopping mall across the street offering plenty of stores, deals, and dining options. The breakfast buffet had a generous selection, and the attentive staff promptly offered coffee or tea. My only concern was a noticeable musty smell in some hallways and occasionally in the room, possibly related to a previous water issue. That’s reason for my 4 out of 5. Hopefully, management is addressing it, as resolving this would further improve the experience. Overall, the hotel was comfortable, convenient, and welcoming. I would consider staying here again.

Oct 04, 2026Never Disappoints!
Great place to relax, take care of immigration items, eat healthy and see/meet many different people. Our 14 nights from Mar-Jun 2025 and 5 in Sep-Oct 2026 always leaves an impression. Thanks to the entire team -- kudos to whomever makes my 5-day meal (Seafood Soup); the variety breakfast items -- so much to choose from and enjoy; the service staff and team; the visitors; and the entire organization. We can't wait to return and enjoy our Residency and Permanent Status.. After a few nights, we finally figure out how to adjust the temperature for comfort.

Hotel RIU Panama City
The room had a very strong cleaner/musky damp smell from the hall where they had big fans running. Not sure if they had a leak or something. It faded a bit the next day. Otherwise a beautiful view and nice room. Beds were harder than we prefer. Breakfast was very good and included. Tastes was about a 3 nothing special for the price.

Gets better everytime
This was my second visit in 10 months. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. I appreciate the new additional security feature, which did not exist last November: the key cards can only select the floor where your room is; however, on floors without an ice machine, the sign should be changed to indicate that ice is available in the cafe in the lobby, which is open 24 hours.
