Loved the Hyatt Resort

The resort was excellent and the staff was helpful and friendly. We loved the adult pool and the palapa. I also liked that you could schedule a palapa and beach chairs ahead of our visit.

The Beach Boys said it all..

Absolutely stunning resort. The koi pond is the largest i have ever seen. The tiki tents on the beach provide shade and decor.

Standard service. Beautiful resort and location.

Very nice room. Resort is beautifully maintained. Beach Palapas are unnecessarily pricey. Cleaning crew missed one day of cleaning. Then on the last day, did not provide water. Both were resolved by speaking with the front desk. Team does not seem to go the extra mile - very matter of fact -- this includes the concierge team. Great location -- easy to walk to shopping and dining.

An easy, beautiful getaway.

The Hyatt was awesome! My husband and I stayed here for a week to just unwind and relax, and we certainly did. We loved the grounds, the beach, pool, bars, and location. A couple of watchouts-the rooms did not blow me away, we stayed on the 3rd floor so we didn’t have a balcony, which was fine we truly only stayed in the room for sleeping, but a very basic design and vibe, but it was quiet which is exactly what I requested. The chairs at the pool and beach must be reserved beforehand or you won’t get a desired chair. Everywhere you eat around the hotel has a 15% service charge, so pay attention to that. The service was top-notch. I am a huge stickler for service and everything was perfect. We walked around the path to other hotels and truly nothing compared to the Hyatt— I am a huge hotel snob and this hotel was the best. Make sure to try the sushi restaurant on property it was INCREDIBLE. The Ruinas Del Mar was OK. I would not read into the bad reviews-some people truly have everything to complain about :) the staff, vibes, and people around were wonderful.
