Booked a message .. my wife and I .. only had male to give message .. I told them not comfortable with a man touching my wife .. they didn’t want to refund or rescheudle us .. robbed by the Hyatt is crazy .. don’t come here

We had a great stay at the Hyatt Regency Maui. The highlight of our stay was definitely the on site Luau Drums of the Pacific. Nicole was the manager at Drums of the Pacific, she did such an amazing job! We had requested mac and cheese for our daughter ahead of time but did not think they were going to accommodate it since its a buffet style meal. They served my daughter mac and cheese for dinner which was a nice touch. Rick was our server he also did a great job. I would highly recommend the on site luau for anybody who is looking for a Luau on Maui! The hotel is very nice, the pools are great as well. The heated pools are a nice touch! The Regency club is awesome as well! I would highly recommend adding Regency Club access to your reservation. If you are looking for a great family friendly hotel in Maui then the Hyatt Regency in Maui is what you are looking for!

2 nights in paradise
We stayed a couple of nights for our 35th wedding anniversary. We have stayed here before and love it here. The large resort pool wasn’t too busy this time although they’ve closed in the pool cave bar with a recent extension to Japengo. I think the hotel gym is one of the best located and well equipped of all hotels I’ve stayed in. Breakfast at Swan court was a large buffet and pretty well prepared. We don’t eat at any of the restaurants this time, but bought coffee at the Honolulu coffee company on site and had pool drinks and lunch. Self parking is, what I’d consider expensive at a place with large amount of land and a big car park, but no option really. Also the resort fee is ridiculous. I don’t know why they just don’t add it to the accommodation fee, as really, that’s what it is and you have to pay it, but all the other hotels also follow this ridiculous and uniquely American practice. The beach outside the hotel is no very eroded and rocky, so you need to walk to whalers village if you want a decent beach to lay on and swim at. The sustainable practice of providing an aluminium water bottle and refill stations is a good idea. Staff were friendly and helpful and room was large and comfortable and you can’t beat the view

A magical stay in Maui!
I took my two teens to Maui for Thanksgiving this year and it was magical! We stayed at the Hyatt Regency Maui and I would highly recommend this hotel to everyone! Check in was quick and easy and each guest was greeted with a kukui nut lei. You're given an elastic (think wide hair tie band) bracelet that acts as your room key. This was so handy! You could wear it all the time and never have to worry about grabbing your key before leaving your room or having to carry something with you to breakfast or the pool. It was also easily removable if you didn't want to wear it swimming or out to a nice dinner. The bracelet also acted as your key to pick up towels from the towel "vending machine" as my kids called it. You could take and return towels whenever you wanted. There were always chairs available by the pool no matter if we went at 10am or 2pm. They had attendants regularly tidying the pool area throughout the day and removing towels that people had left for too long on chairs, which I appreciated. The main pool was plenty big and never felt crowded. The kids' pool looked great for little ones and my teens and I had fun on the big slide. We also checked out the pool next door and enjoyed the more natural river-like feel to it. The only downside was that the beach area directly in front of the hotel was small and rocky but this was not a big deal and would not keep us from staying there again or recommending this hotel to friends and family. In fact, there are so many great beaches in Maui, that I recommend getting out and away from the hotel anyway to do some exploring for your beach time. We also enjoyed viewing the penguins, swans, and parrots throughout the property. The grounds were so beautiful. We stayed in a corner room in the central building and had a beautiful view of both the mountains and the ocean. The breakfast buffet always had something for everyone and made grabbing something in the morning quick and easy so we could get started on our days quicker. They also had a delicious coffee shop which we enjoyed several mornings, and it also served açai bowls which I'm bummed we didn't get to try. If you needed a quick snack, to purchase sunscreen, or shop for last minute souvenirs, the onsite gift shop had it all. There were plenty of plugs in the room for charging all your devices. The bathroom had plenty of counter space and extra storage space below too. The shower was a nice big walk in and the provided hair dryer was powerful. Additional amenities included a decent sized mini fridge, a Keurig, and a hot water kettle. Our room had two lanais, one with two chairs and a table and the other just a walk out. We hung our swimsuits on the chairs every night and they were dry by morning. Finally, the location is perfect; close to Whalers Village, Black Rock Beach, and Lahaina. I have zero negative things to say about this hotel!

Perfect Maui Stay
Location was amazing with beautiful beach location and multiple pools. Staff welcomed us with open arms and greeted us with traditional Hawaiian beads. Hotel was quiet and the grounds are stunning! Enjoyed our stay and will be back!
